rain.
jungkook sat alone on his bed in his dark room, staring out the window into the desolate streets.
he had nothing else to do. he ran out of beers, but it was raining too hard to go out and buy more. he had no food in his fridge but a couple ketchup packets and soy sauce.
he wasn't hungry anyways.
he listened to the pitter patter of the rain hitting his window. he was tempted to open it to let some of the breeze in. he loved the smell of the rain.
but he stopped himself.
the rain only reminded him of her.
jungkook: it's raining
jungkook: i hope you're staying warm
jungkook: with a cup of hot chocolate in your hands
jungkook: with marshmallows and whipped cream, the way you like it

jungkook: are you remembering the same things i am right now?
jungkook: then again you probably haven't thought of me

jungkook took a deep breath to control his feelings.
he really needed that beer.
he stared out the window and noticed a bird nest on a tree outside his window. there was a bird that was arranging leaves over her eggs so the rain wouldn't damage them. then another bird came and covered them all from the rain with a chip bag. jungkook watched as, who he assumed as the female bird, chirped in happiness as they both sat with their eggs in the nest, protected from the harsh rhythms of the rain.
jungkook: we both didn't know it was going to rain after dinner
jungkook: maybe i should've checked the weather and prepared better
jungkook: but you led us both to the park where we got soaked
jungkook: it was one of the most beautiful moments in my life
