Whitney's pov.
My alarm goes off and I get out of bed. I do my daily routine and start to head out for school.
I had just started to walk and I hear a beep. I quickly turn around and see a truck pull up next to me.
"Hey, Whitney. Wanna ride?" I hear a familiar voice.
"Oh umm... sure Finn." I get in the passenger side. It started to get awkwardly silent.
"Soo... how was your night?" he asks.
"Umm... pretty good. My mom got me a new kitten. It's so adorable!! Anyway, how was your night?" I question back.
"Ehh... it was ok. I couldn't really fall asleep last night for some reason I haven't been sleeping very well at night." He replies.
"Oh... I'm sorry to hear that. Are you like more stress than normal? "
"Well, being in glee and the Quarterback at the same time can be stressful. So maybe." He tells me pulling into the school's parking lot.
I was about to get out but he stops me.
"Oh, Whit are you gonna tryout for glee tonight?"
"Ummm.... I might. I don't know for sure I'm gonna have to ask Quinn if she's ready. I mean I am but me, Quinn and her two other friends were gonna do it the same day. So, I don't really know yet but I'll let you know. Ok?" I tell him explaining him my plan.
I get out and thank him for the ride. I start to head into school and see Quinn waiting at my locker.
"Hey, Quinn. Are we gonna tryout for glee today? I think I want too."
"Ummm... sure I don't have Cherrios tonight so yea I guess." She says.
"Ok are ya gonna wait for me?" I ask.
"Yea... I mean why not we are in most of the same classes." She says leaning against the locker next to mine.
"True." I get my stuff and we start walking towards our first class. We walk in and take a seat. And we wait for lunch to come.
***********skip to lunch************
Me and Quinn head to lunch and we meet up with these two Cheerios girls.
"Hey girls. This is Whitney. She's gonna be auditioning for glee club with us today after school." Quinn says to the girls. We sit down and talk and eat lunch. After lunch we go to our next classes.
************Glee club*************
"Ok, guys we have new people auditioning today. Welcome in guys!" We hear Mr.Shue introduce us and we come in jogging happily.
After we do that Mr.Shue asks us what we'll be singing. Quinn, Britney, and Santana song together and they sing 'Sing a Preyer' which they sing amazingly.
I, on the other hand, sing a solo. And I sing 'Don't rain on my parade'.
Whitney:
Don't tell me not to live,
Just sit and putter,
Life's candy and suns a ball of butter. Don't bring around a cloud to rain on my parade.
Don't tell not to fly,
I simply got to,
If someone takes a spill
It's me and not you,
Who told you,
You're allowed to rain on my parade.
I'll march my band out,
I'll beat my drum,
And if I'm fanned out,

At least I didn't fake it, hat, sir
Guess I didn't make it.
But wether I'm rose of sheer perfection,
A freckle on the nose of life's complexion.
A cinder on the Shiney apple of his eye.
I gotta fly once,

Only can die once right sir.
Ohhh, Life's juicy, juicy and you see. I gotta have my bite, sir.....
I song the rest of the song and belt out the last note. Everyone stood in shock. Until, Quinn started to cheer for me and everyone else joined in.
"Whitney...I think when I speak. I speak for everyone....." Mr.Shue starts
"Welcome to the New Directions!!!!!" Everyone cheers a little more and then we continue a lesson Mr.Shue had done for that week.

Hi sorry for not updating in forever. Oh and by the way I'm gonna be skipping the day like I'm not gonna include the school day unless if there's a song I include like a daydream or an imagine. So, this book is only going to include the weekend and the beginning of school, lunch and glee club and stuff like that, and if you want me to add like the classes during the chapters I guess I'll consider it but you'd need to let me know.
