***
It all started with an online site. One like, one page and one conversation that led one thing to another which holds so much promise and expectation.
After some years of planning and getting ready they finally flew out of the country to pursue their dreams. Will they still be able to hold on to each other when everything they built slowly broke down?
“Shin-ah! Seodulleo! (Hurry up!)” Samantha called out from her place near the gates of Incheon International Airport.
“Yah! Why must you always call me by my surname?” I grumbled as I dragged my luggage to her spot with the other three behind me.
“Aigoo, you’re really not excited, aren’t you?” Jinnie asked sarcastically beside me while the maknae line stopped behind her and were both grinning like idiots.
“Nah, not really.”Sam laughed and hauled herself from her sitting position beside her luggage. Seriously, you wouldn’t think of her as an 19 year young lady with an attitude like that. Oh well. *shrugs*
We were still talking amongst ourselves when a middle aged ahjusshi in a black suit approached us. He looked like the typical body guard you would see in movies. We immediately stopped talking when he stopped in front of us, too a low bow and asked; “Hwanyong hamnida (Welcome). You are Prism, I presume?” We nodded.
“I am here to collect you. Please follow me.” He said and led the way.
We followed and stopped in front of a black limousine just right outside the airport exit.
“Well… This is a nice welcome back.” Nica chimed while looking at the length of the car. We all nodded in approval.
The ahjusshi opened the door for us after chucking our luggage in the car compartment and we filed one by one inside after thanking him. “I was asked to drop you ladies off at the company before retreating to your dorm.” He continued after we’re all comfortably sited inside. “Nae arasso. Kamsahamnida. (Yes, I understand. Thank you.)” I nodded in response.
I scanned the limo interior as ahjusshi started to bring the car to life. It was pretty spacious and business type for newbies like us to ride on. And when I say Spacious, I mean W-I-D-E. Like you can fit in a-whole-rugby-team-with-their-uniforms-on wide. It was an elegant royal black complete with window blinds. I know. BLINDS. On a freaking limo window. I’ve been around cars, trust me, and it’s the first time I’ve seen window blinds in a limousine. I feel at home. XD There’s also a mini bar inside complete with sweets and snacks that are being hijacked by Nica and Sophia as we speak and the wines were being closely inspected by Sam. Jin’s been occupying a whole seat by herself when the limo finally slowed to a stop.
Ahjusshi opened the door and we let ourselves out.
Well, this is it. I thought and looked up at the building in front of us.
SMEnt, here we come.
