Gwen

You never know when a day is going to important. You know, more special than others. Just like how I never knew when my life was going to go from boring to amazing.

A month ago.......

I trudged up the stairs with a heavy load of textbooks and homework on my back, overwhelmed with fatigue.

It seemed like all my teachers got together and were like "Lets screw with Gwen and give her a shit load of homework."

I sighed and slung my bag off my shoulder, all ready feeling the weight and tension off my tired shoulders.

I got out my phone and was getting on Instagram when my mom walked in. I immediately turned off my phone and opened my Chemistry textbook to a random page, pretending to seem studious.

"Hey honey, I don't mean to interrupt but there was something I wanted to talk to you about."

Immediately I try to think back to my grades on Skyward, and seeing as they weren't very good, I feared for what she would say.

"No you're fine." I said, putting on my most winning smile.

She closed the door behind her ever so quietly, as if she didn't want to let anyone else in on our little 'talk.'

She sat on my full size bed, the bed sagging underneath her. She played with her fingers almost nervously, as if what she was about to say had great importance.

Sighing, she took a deep breath and smiled at me.

"There is something that I have wanted to tell you for a very long time. But I refrained from saying anything because I thought you were too young. But now that I've seen you grow up into a beautiful young woman, I feel like it's time."

My cheeks heated up at her compliment and relief washed over my body in waves.

I am soooo glad this isn't about my grades.

She slowly pulled a small red notebook from behind her back and held it up delicately.

"Do you believe in true love?"

Sage

I flopped onto my bed, willing my mind to shut off. It was another day of spending time with the love of my life. With the most weirdest job ever I may add.

Last summer I decided that it was about time I get a job. I was already 17 going on 18 in another month or so, with no job at all! But because my father was the president and founder of the company Generation Genesis, we were never short on money; Which meant I didn't really HAVE to get a job.

His company put Apple products to shame. Back when my father was a teenager, everyone had iPhones. But now in this day in age, 2068, the hottest product on the streets was the Genesis Future'68. Or commonly known as the GenFu.

Most people would think that having someone as famous as my father would be awesome. But really, I feel like a model half the time, But I guess that's because I AM one.

I often have to help my father with commercials and advertising by being the Generation Genesis spoke person. And just because my father wanted even MORE money, he decided 'Why not humiliate my one and only son by making him a teen model?'

I guess one could say that I must make plenty money from just that, but well this isn't the life I would have picked. I never asked to be famous, rich, and live in a mansion. And I know it may sound cliché to say that all I've ever wanted is to be normal.

I don't want people to meet me and already have seen my face somewhere. I don't want to sign autographs every time I step out of my limo.

Man, what I would GIVE to be a normal, average person. My father didn't even allow me to attend high school until just last year.

Butttttt, getting back to what I was saying. I definitely have quite the odd job. I work as an entertainer for little kids. Yes, I know what you're thinking. 'THE Sage Fedell dresses in a costume for 4 hours and entertains kids?' Welllll something like that.

Basically, I dress up as my own character, which means no big head, hot and sweaty body prisons.

I would dress as a villain, named Mauvais Loup(Evil/Bad Wolf in French), and would pretend to terrorize the young citizens of Paris(the children). The children would just love to run away from me, considering I AM the bad guy. But there was always a mysterious girl behind a mask that would save the children.

She called herself Chanceux lume(or Lucky Light in French), and she dedicated herself to saving the citizens of Paris. And I know it may seem weird to fall in love with someone in a bright light costume, but well there was something much weirder than that. Neither of us knew each other behind the mask.

We pretty much agreed that with a pretty embarrassing job like ours, we could at least keep our dignity.

But the more time we spent together, the more I wanted to know who the beautiful girl beneath the mask was.

I'm just going to put pictures of how I imagined the characters in my head. If you don't think the people above should look that way they do, then picture them differently.(^.^)

This is the first story I posted with my own characters. The ship note idea....well I found that on Instagram. But please let me know what you think of my story!
