This story is beautifully crafted by the talented trailofwishes.
As the title suggests, this short story is mainly composed of draft messages that exes type out to one another. The thing about draft messages is that they may never be sent and will sit in your email for all of eternity. These exes clearly still have feelings for one another but something is clearly in the way and it's not just the bullshit excuse that was expressed at the time. Will they ever send a message to one another or will the messages be permanently deleted? You'll have to read for yourself!
Yes, this summary is unclear but you'll have to find out how the story ends by reading the book!
Honestly, I wish this story was longer but it is amazingly written. I am not a crier by any means but this story brought tears to my eyes. It reminded me of my past and all the messages that I've typed out but refused to send. All of these messages ended up hurting me more but helped me vent without the other person knowing. This story reminds me to never leave a word unsaid because it could be too late the next chance you get. I'm a hot head so I have to type things out on a different platform to avoid going total bitch mode on someone's ass. I don't want to regret the words that I do decide to say, but I also don't want to say nothing and get walked all over. There's a fine line and this story between ex lovers breaks and repairs my heart all at the same time. This is an easy read and everyone should read this story at any stage of their life.
