CHAPTER 2
~Blondie's POV~
I was unpacking my one and only bag into the small dresser, when I heard a knock on the door frame.
"Can I help?" it was definitely Ponyboy.
"Umm... no I think I got it! I'm almost done anyways..." I say shyly. I don't know what it is about him but he definitely doesn't seem like a greaser. He doesn't seen like a Soc either, though. Almost like just a regular person.
"Okay, well, do you want some chocolate cake?" He says shyly.
"Sure! I love chocolate anything!" I smile.
"Me too. Darry lets us have chocolate cake and milk for breakfast!" Ponyboy is a very happy person.
"That's very healthy," I say sarcastically. He seems sweet as a button!
"Yeh. Our parents didn't let us," he says looking sad. I wonder why...
"Oh, well at least Darry does!" I smile. He smiled the slightest. He's adorable.
"Blondie will have some cake," Ponyboy says getting a glass of water for me.
"Okay. Hey, Blondie, how do you like our room? Best bed in the house," Sodapop says with a smirk. I can't help but smile. He's just to loveable!
"It's nicer than the dump I was stayin' in, so I guess it's great!" I smile while taking the glass from Pony.
"Where were you stayin'?" Darry says handing me my plate with cake on it. I didn't really want to answer but I knew I had to.
"A vacant lot off of Onset Road... Dally... used to bring me food do it was kinda like my home," I say taking a bite of cake. It tasted really good...
"Well, just remember you can stay here as long as you want," Darry said putting a jean vest on. I assume a work uniform.
"Well, Poojie is coming over to clean later. Ponyboy, you aren't allowed to smoke around or with her because she's got asthma. You hear?" Darry says sternly.
"Yeh, yeh. I know! Meshes stayed with me before...." he sighs.
"You good, Blondie?" Darry said right before he left.
"Yup! Thanks," I smile taking another bite.
