Chapter 3 "A Confession That Changes My View"

A/n: Before I start I just wanted to say that this will be short. The reasoning behind this is because I just want to get to the point. Usually I say sorry but not this time, because right after this is the finale so you guys get a double update. Plus I've noticed a lot of people make short chapters when they want to get to the point. (Especially texting based stories, which I kinda want to make) So yea... Also the quicker I finish  this up the faster I can get to the second (and better) book in this series.

Garroth's POV

I wasn't chickening out this time. I was going to tell Laurance my feelings and nothing would stop me. Yesterday I finally told Dante and luckily he was supportive (of course he was, he's gay, if you don't already know this is the same AU and my Vylante story) It felt nice to have told someone and Dante said that he'd be by my side of I want. I rejected though, I wanted to be alone with Laurance.

Earlier today I had texted him to meet me at the bleachers. And of course, that where I  was know. Knowing Laurance, he'd be late. He'd have been late to every class this year if it wasn't for me. I smiled at the thought and got lost in thought about the beautiful brunette so I didn't realize when said boy walked up the bleachers and joined me. (I hope you guys understood that I don't usually use the 'said thing' in my writing but sometimes I just want to change it up a bit) "Garroth?" "Gaaaaarrrrooooth???" I was snapped (or SLAPPED) back into reality when Laurance playfully slapped my face. "Owwww" I groaned and Laurance just laughed, "Why'd you do that?" "Cause you wee lost in Garroth land!" Laurance says still laughing. I glare at him which make him laugh even harder. "It's impossible for you to look threatening Garroth!" "HEY! I can be threatening!" "No, no you can't your to innocent!"

I glared at him harshly (or really just looked like he was squinting) 

"What did you need anyway?" Laurance says after he manages to calm himself down. "Oh... Ummmmm..." I'm at lost for the right words, after that goofy exchange it's hard to say something as serious as this. Before long I just ramble on about who knows what. Laurance has a confused look on his face and I isnt blame him. When I stop he just looks at me and says, "What the heck are you even talking about?" I don't know... I'm trying to say something but I can't find the right words..." "Do you want to text me it?" "No, it's to personal to be sent through a text."

After a few minties of evaluating my situation I just tell myself 'screw it'.

"I like you."

"I like you to..."

"No like more then a friend..."

"Like a brother?"

"No."

"Oh."

There's a awkward silence and Lauranxe finally breaks it by saying, "I've been confused recently... Ever since I dated Michi I've felt different..." Uh oh, was he in love with Michi??? "I haven't dated a girl since.."

God oh no, why does he love her?

"I haven't felt a spark."

WHYYYY!! WHY HER!!!

"I didn't even feel a spark with Michi..."

IS THERE HOPE?!

"I honestly think I was trying to reassure myself. And now I'm more confused as ever..."

THERE IS HOPE PRAISE THE LORD! 

"Can you kiss me?"

A/n: I honestly think that's a great ending even though I haven't got the pint across. There will actually now me two more chapters after this (plus a epilogue) but the next one will be extremely short.)
