Chapter 1: My Life

"Mom why do we have to move?" I groan. "Because dear when humans find out our secret we can't stay and let them live in fear." my mother said with regret in her voice. Mother hates being a vampire she says we're freaks. My real father is human and he doesn't care for our whole vampire side. I'm half human although i look full vampire i have more feelings i get hurt a lot easier than a human. I can eat human food but i don't like it. "oh where are we moving to now?" my step father asks. "to L.A.after you are done working here we will be waiting for you." My mother says. "say goodbye to your step father." Mother says in a voice so quiet i almost didn't hear her. I gave my step dad a hug and said my goodbyes. As mother and I were walking out of the house there he was, The most beautiful human boy I've ever seen. I walk to the car and not seeing it i trip and fall over a trash can! (HOW COULD I BE SO STUPID) I get up but to my amazement he was gone, he never saw me fall or heard me scream as i fell. Then out of nowhere the most horrible voice in the world spoke up. "nice fail dumb ass." my real father says laughing so hard he almost puked up his 9 cans of beer, i would of laughed if he did. "Hurry up bitch we gotta go because of your slutty ass!" He yells referring to my mother. I wanted to suck every ounce of blood from his body until he looked like a steamroller ran over him, But i don't want his alcohol poisoning or every HIV and STD known to man. As a good daughter i stand up to him. "How dare you, don't you ever talk to my mother like that or i sware to god i'll suck every ounce of blood out of your body!" I scream. I hold him half way out the window, choking him. My mother came out just in time to see me standing over the dick head ready to suck his blood. "Alex! stop it leave him alone!" she screams running towards me. I let go of him and get in the back of the car. "That bitch she threatened me. i ought to have you arrested." he says in a little scared voice. i just scoff and put my hood up looking out the window. It was about 3:00 a.m. when we finally made it to L.A. "Get up Alex we're here, go get your stuff and take it to your room." My mother says with tears in her voice. I get my one suitcase (because it had all i own in it) and i walked into the abandoned house. "this place is so weird and creepy." I say. "I like it." I walk up to my bedroom and start unpacking. My step dad brings in a coffin. "do you really need this thing as a bed?" he asks I look up and run to hug him "oh easy munster." he says. He likes to call me munster instead of monster, I think it's cute. "hey you're early." i say "yeah i took a plane which is faster than driving." he chuckles "well anyway that coffin is not a bed it's a couch dumb ass." i say laughing really loudly. "well i'll go surprise your mother. see you tomorrow munster." he says walking out of my room. I finally get all unpacked and settled, that night was hard to sleep maybe because i had my first day at Madison High School tomorrow...
