I was sat by the pool, bored and not knowing what to do. I decided to go out for coffee, so I quickly got dressed and headed to Costa. As I parked my bike in the car park I noticed a familiar car, it was Ryder's.

I haven't saw him in 2 days and I need to speak to him to carry on the mission. Uh life is hard. I walked in and saw him sat at a table with a blonde girl. I couldn't see her face but I bet she was going to look pretty, I guess things have changed in 2 days. Shit. I still need to complete my mission, so I can't let this girl ruin it.

Wait he's a player so he's probably just using her. I started walking over to the counter to order my drink when Ryder called me over. As I turned I saw the girls face,

"hey " I mumbled as I walked over to them.

"Lucy this is Katie, and Katie this is Lucy" Ryder said introducing us but we didn't need any introducing, Lucy smiled at me, maybe she never realised it was me. It has been 9 years after all but if Diana recognised me then surely Lucy should have. I guess she really did forget about me.

I smiled back but I couldn't help myself, my eyes began to water at the thought. She didn't know me anymore. She looked sad when she saw me cry.

"What's wrong?" Ryder asked concerned.

"Nothing I have to go" I said wiping my tear away.

"Here's my number, give me a call. I would really like to get to know you and be friends" said Lucy handing me the piece of paper with her number on it.

"Thanks" I said leaving.

"katie please" Ryder said following me out the cafe.

"I really need to go, I will see you around" I said in anger.

"Are you jealous?" He asked

"what? Of her? No, I doesn't bother me who you sleep with, I'm not yours and your not mine!" I yelled. I was taking my anger out on him and it wasn't his Fault. He wasn't to know. I quickly got on my bike and left.

When I got home I went to my room and ended up falling asleep but when I woke up I had a message from Diana,

Diana-hey, I have got some news. I'm not sure what your gonna think honey
Me-hey, what is it
Diana-Lucy is in town, she came to our house today.
Me- yeah I saw her. What happened? Did she come looking for you?
Diana-not me, it turns out your mum had an affair with Damien's brother, Lucy is his kid, not your fathers, so your half sisters. She explained everything but now Ryder and Damien know your her sister.
Me- oh, I can't believe it. I haven't seen her in 9 years and she manages to track down her real uncle but not me. I have to go see Ryder and explain everything. Does he know about the adoption?
Diana- no, I think you should tell him the truth so nothing comes out and ends badly.
Me- yeah, I will.

I then went onto face book and texted Ryder, he answered almost straight away.

This is all so complicated and just in case you don't understand I will explain again. Lucy is my sister well half since I just found out my mum had an affair and ended up pregnant. Lucy's uncle is Damien who is Ryder's dad and my aunties husband.

I quickly grabbed my jacket and headed out, after 10 minutes driving there I finally arrived. I ran down the beach to see Ryder sat his back against a log.

"Ryder" I shouted kneeling down next to him. His nose was bleeding and he had big black eyes with a busted lip and bruised cheek.

"What happened" I asked.

"I was beaten up" he said while I helped him up. I walked him into the beach toilets and placed him by the sinks. I quickly got tissues for his nose bleed was damped some more tissues to wipe his face clean. After 5 minutes when he stopped bleeding and his face was cleaned up I made him explain what happened.

"Tell me the whole story" I said.
