3. Stream

Once the class was full I just sat in the class observing my guitar while I listened to my uncle speak. It was . This guitar is my child, my life, the best think I have. I looked up to listen to my uncle "Now, before we start with the basic notes everyone needs to tune their guitars. Me and Carson with go around helping if you need it" Carson stood slinging the guitars strap around him and walked to the front of the room while his uncle got his guitar out. It was the same, but with a different color. He stood beside me at the front if the class and watched in amusement as the class tried to adjust their strings. Finally someone in the back raised their hand and my uncle went to help. Another asked for help and I walked over "I think I'm good but I can't tell" she said a bit nervously. I swung my guitar to my back and picked hers up checking the strings. She actually had done perfectly. I gave her a smile and nodded giving it back. I walked back to the front of the room. Arryn was siting looking at his guitar "Yah know, you could have left something for me to do while the others tune their strings" I shrugged giving him a sly smile.

Once everyones guitars were tuned and good me and teach stood at the front of class. While he was talking a boy raised his hand "Yes?" Mr. West said aggravated. "Why is freak standing up there? Can he even play?" I glared at the boy and my uncle spoke in my defense "He has been playing since he was five, and is better than me. And as his uncle I would like to say that if you, if any of you, ever call him a freak again I will bash you over the head with your guitar" he clapped his hands looking around the class at the wide eyed students. People calling me a freak got to him more than anything "Okay, seems like you all got the message. Now, Carson, show them the basic notes" I did so without thought and heard the boy whisper to Arryn "Wow, basic notes. So proud" Arryn growled at him "Shut the fuck up and listen yah prick" I smiled a bit.

By the end of the block, the entire class could play the basic notes "Okay, you can take the guitars home. Your homework is to practice for at least 20 minutes. For the last ten you all can do whatever. I don't care" I smiled when he shot me a look. I heard Arryn's voice next to me and jumped "Hey" he said simply. I frowned at him and moved over so he could sit next to me. "What was that song you played earlier?" I signed the letters 'C-a-r-o-l-y-n' "Carolyn? Did you write it?" I shook my head eyes wide "Just play it again" he bugged nudging me. I rolled my eyes and began playing the song. I didn't even notice the class get quiet. When the bell rang I jumped making Arryn laugh. The class all filed out, leaving me, Arryn, and my uncle alone. I sighed leaning my head back. I saw Arryn frown and gave him a confused look "Your neck, it's bruised" I sat up and ignored his comment putting my guitar in its case. "Carson are you really just going to shrug it off?" Arryn asked in shock. I nodded heading to the door. I heard him get up and follow me though he didn't say anything else.

At the end of the day I picked up my guitar and walked to a stream behind my house. It was deep in the woods and so calming to me. I sighed pulling off my beanie and sweatshirt. It was pretty cold out but I had extra body heat from my mutation. My tail was so cramped from being stuffed into my pants all day it cracked as I shook it. With my guitar back on my back I climbed onto a rock and swung it around starting to play. I dont even know what I was playing, I was just doing it. Letting my fingers glide however they wanted.

I had been there for three hours when I noticed it was dark. I cursed myself in my head and ran back home throwing my guitar in my window and climbing in after it silently.

I was not aware I had this in my drafts but that's good because now I can put this in a chapter instead of having to visit this account to tell people who ask.

This story is moving to my main account because I keep forgetting the info for this one and I've had my main for much longer than this one. That account is MattyWolfBoi019.
