For three weeks I waited. The man, the man that had taken care of me since I was a pup, he never showed up. My little tail fell lower and lower each day. Passing cars sometimes threw food that I nibbled on. The nights grew cold, and I tried to hide in the bushes. Wolfs howled in the distance, but never came near. With each week that passed, my heart grew heaver and heaver. My tail dropped more and I didn't want to be here. I wanted to be home. But after three weeks, I realized home was now ex-home.
