It seemed like everyone was watching as I wiggled on my skates towards the rink. Some of the carpet was sticking up and I tripped over it and landed on my hands.
Oh nice going Rachel, real graceful.I picked myself up and dusted off my leotard. I stuck my head in the air and finished my walk towards the ice. I poised myself, ready for the music to start.
A Bollywood song started to twist out of the speakers and I started to skate. I started with a throw jump in midair and landed it!
YES! Keep it up, Rachel.
Then I do a twizzle, which I love the name. It's just so cute. After the twizzle, I skated a full circle around the rink. My last move is a Waltz jump, which should be easy. It was one of the first jumps I ever learned.
I lifted my one toe up and skated quickly to gain momentum. I twisted and- my toe pick scuffed the ice and I tripped.NO! Rachel. Chill out. You didn't fall all the way to the ground.
As soon as I got off of the ice, I looked towards the judges they were frantically checking the videos. I looked away devastated. I should've perfected it. Lily ran over to me and gave me a bone-crushing hug. The lead judge stood up and grabbed the microphone about to announce my Olympic destiny.
