She lay awake, trying to escape the upset she was feeling,
And then she reminded herself of sweet dreaming;
Best friends,
Sunsets,
Stupid jokes,
Smiley texts,
Ice cream,
Cherry trees,
Bluebirds,
Honey bees,
Mad laughs,
Funny faces,
Shining stars,
Far off places,
Sweet shops,
Rainbows,
Free dancing,
Wiggling toes.
She closed her eyes, her new smile had meaning,
Because she remembered her sweet dreaming.
