"Thanks?" I said, giving her a confused look.

Her face now was completely red and she's facing towards the ground.

"Uhhh" I wanted to say something to break the silence

But, what the hell do you say when someone said that you smell like smoke???

"Why are you guys so quite now?" Nikki asked, her pointer finger at her lips in a confused manner (yeah...anime? Sorry)

"D-don't worry about it" Sophie stuttered, her blush turning for the worse.

I just sat there silently, not really believing my surroundings.

Relaxing and just letting my eyes wonder the room.

Welp, why does this room suddenly seem so interesting?

The "bed" I was sitting on was basically an old mattress on a rusty old bed frame.

The cloth covering it made it better, but even being made out of bones it's uncomfortable.

The walls were a dark grey concrete, with scratches and little holes covering it.

Behind me, at the right corner was a small window.

It's really the only light in here.

(Y/n) cleared her throat

"Yeah, sorry about that. I'm just going to go over there and try to get away from you."

She just stood up.

Went to the other side of the room, and stayed silent.

Her blush was less visible and she stood in a better position.

Nikki had a face of pure confusion.

"What? Was it something I did? I'm sorry!" She said.

This kid can be so oblivious...

It's unreal...

"No, no. It's fine...I'm just not good at meeting new monsters..." She stated.

She doesn't sound mad, agressive, or any of the sort.

She just seemed tired, and I much prefer her being like this.

I look down to see Nikki.

Quiet enough so that miss short fuse won't hear.

I take a glance at Sophie.

She had her hand covering her face, still somehow needing to calm down.

Her body pose is mostly relaxed.

To be honest, she looks calmer than I've even seen her.

"Nah, even if she is mad, you're too much to her, she probably won't stay mad at you for long" I said, my voice slightly laced with confusion.

She didn't notice my confusion.

Now that I think about it, she slightly reminds me of papyrus...

"Nikki." I heard Sophie say.

"Let's go, you need to get back to the camp and I've got a few things to deal with"

Nikki stayed silent.

"Can I see G again tomorrow"

This kids fucking adorable

She scratches the back of her neck, she doesn't look comfortable at all.

"Suuuurrrre" her voice was extremely unsure. (yeeeaaaahhh. Her voice was extremely unyeah)

Nikki seems to lighten up anyway, her eyes slightly widen and her mouth turns into a smile.

She slumps her back, the look of regret written all over her face.

"Come on, let's leave before I make another regrettable choice." She said, her voice tired.

Nikki said her goodbyes and they left.

Leaving me to my thoughts.
