Jasmine POV
I woke up and did my regular morning routine along with eating some oatmeal. Im on my way to my car when i see it covered in eggs.
"My stupid ex" i mumbled to myself.
"What was the gorgeous" i look behind me to see the one and only Blake.
"You heard me asshole" I said whispering asshole.
He grabbed me by my throat and slapped me.
"Better watch yourself gorgeous" He laughed.
Blake left in some car while i just layed there. I eventually got up and drove to the hair salon.
~After Work~
Im driving home and get a phone call.
"Hello, is the this Ms. Smith" the woman said.
"Yes it is, who is this" i said while stopping the car.
"This is Nurse Johnson, im hear to inform you that your mother passed away today from her cancer. Im so sorry" she said hanging up.
I throw my phone at the window and start crying. I started thinking about all the good times with my mom, although some weren't good i still loved her. I called my boss to see if i can have tommrow off he said no (of course).
~Next Day~
I got in my car and drove to work. I finally arrived 5 minutes later and saw a hot guy.
"Hello sir, has anyone helped you today" i said politely
" No ma'am, im looking for a haircut" his deep voice said.
"Alright, come over here then" i direct him to the seat.
I walk him over to the seat and i feel him looking at my butt so i look behind me and there he was staring at my butt. He looked up and blushed.
"My name is Ben by the way" he said looking at me.
"Well hello Ben, im Jasmine" i said smiling.
"Your gorgeous we should hangout sometime" he said and i looked down.
"Im sorry, did i say something wrong" he held my chin up.
"I just dont like the word gorgeous" i said frowning
"Oh, Why?" He asked.
"I don't wanna tell you, im sorry" he nodded
I finished up his hair and pulled the towel off around him.
"Thank you again, can i maybe have your number?" I nod and give him my number.
