"Siena prepare yourself for supper, Be down in 5 minutes sharp," The head assistant of the adoption center, Diana yells from downstairs.

"Yes ma'am," I yell back down in my sweetest voice possible.

I am completely and utterly done with this place. This orphanage, which never in a million years will I ever call home, is living hell.

My parents died in a house fire when I was 7 and having no other family, I was thrown in this hell house. I've been here for 9 dreadful years, and in two years It will be my 18th birthday and I will be leaving this place without question.

"Siena.." I hear Diana call once again.

"Coming," I yell back.

I rush over to my dresser and grab my black wool knee high socks and slide them on and push on my pale pink ballet flats.

That's one thing I protest about this place. You have to wear uniforms at all times. I haven't worn sweat pants, or jeans, or even a normal plain t-shirt in 10 years.

On the way out of the door I stopped at the small silver rimed square mirror and fluff my perfectly curled hair and puckered my lips. Eh, I look good enough.

I walk out of my small dorm and flinched at the sight of the awful plain gray hallway rimed with floral wall paper, It is absolutely disgusting.

I quickly run down the hall way as fast has my legs can take me in my tight gray pencil skirt.

I sharply turned around the corner and swiftly bump into something.

I quickly fall to the ground making I loud thump.

What the hell did I just run into.

"Siena Rosalie Henderson, how many times do I have to tell you not to run in the hallway, You've been here 10 years. I would expect you to be a better role model for the younger orphans," Diana yells sternly at me.

I breath deeply, holding myself from strangling her.

But my anger rises at the sound of doors opening. The younger orphans must have heard fucking Diana yelling.

Great last thing I need is an audience.

"Now see what you've done, you've once again caused a scene Siena. Your behavior lately has been unexceptional, and for your punishment you will be doing all 16 and older chores for a week," She points her finger at me, and then every where around me.

"But--but you can't do that," I croak angrily.

"Yes I can. You need to learn respect for someone other then yourself," Diana yells back.

Ugh I groan and roll my eyes in annoyance.

"This is the worst orphanage ever!" I scream and finally get up off from the floor.

"To your room," She points to my dorm door.

I make my way angrily towards my room.

"Two more years, two more years," I yell and run into my room slamming my door as loud as possible.

I catch my breath, then quickly run over to my window and aggressively unlock it sliding it open as wide as possible.

I reach one leg out, laying my foot firmly on the gray roof.

Then I swing my other foot over and climb out of the room.

The fresh air instantly hits me, and the crisp air of fall quickly fills my lungs and a small grin is instantly plastered on my face.

My whole life here, this roof was the only thing that could make me smile. It was the only thing that could make me truly happy.

When I first was transferred to the orphanage, I wouldn't speak a single word to anyone, until Molly came along.

I only started talking to her one day when I caught her outside on the roof.

For me, having my parents just recently die, being thrown into a stuffy orphanage. It was the most exciting thing that happened to me in a long while.

Molly showed me every building that you could see within the roof distance. From the cinema to the super market, from the library to the public school. Every building seemed ten times more fun and extravagant then this stuffy orphanage.

And that's when my dreams of moving out if this dreadful city and exploring the world became real.

And the more me and Molly bonded out on that roof, the more we realized how similar we really are.

And soon enough me and Molly became inseparable. But her being older than me by 4 years, And being has smart, well mannered, and pretty as she was she quickly got adopted by loving parents.

Leaving me once again heart broken and alone.

And I swear that roof became more a home to me then this damn orphanage ever will be.

After I watched the sun beautifully set, I decided it was time to climb back into my stuffy dorm.

I grabbed my toiletry bag and towel and quickly ran down the hallway towards the shower room.

The huge room was completely empty. Leaving all the showers free, and every step I took echoed loudly.

I decided to take the last shower to the left, it was the cleanest out of them all.

I turned the shower on high heat and stepped in.

Every warm drop that slithered down my body, automatically let my muscles relax.

After I washed up, I quickly climbed out and grabbed my towel. I dried off and threw on my night gown.

I then brushed my teeth and headed back to the room.

As soon as I walked in, the anger I once had before rushed threw my veins again.

"Look who decided to show up," laughed my obnoxious room mate, Caitlyn.

"Oh hey look, it's the attention seeking whore," Laughed my other obnoxious room mate Kennedy, who just so happened to be Caitlyn's best friend.

"Oh look, it's the two bitches," I defended myself confidently.

They both just laughed.

"You're so pathetic," Kennedy chuckles.

I just ignored them both and climb in bed.

I turn my side lamp off to drown the sight of both their faces.

After thinking of ways I would like to torture Caitlyn and Kennedy I fall into a deep sleep.
