Rays of sun shine beemed through the forest branchers, leaving rows of sunlight on pale cheek. Light filtering through the top branches, smelling the composting leaves. Branchers crackled as, I paraded through the soiled path, touching leafs above as I dift below them. Green meadows hidden in the folds of the forest, the earthy smell of beginnings and endings.
The sunlight hit the back of my neck as, I chopped through an ivy-covered oak tree, driving my heavy axe into it's wooden base. Beads of sweat rolled down the side of my forehead, making me rust. ''Gone yet?'' Laughed Ruck, ''Are you always this slow?''
''Easy for you to say, my friend.'' I jerked the axe away from the oak tree, causing it to fall. ''It's hard out in this sun.''
''Credirk.. Credirk.. Credirk. If you don't get the work gone by sunset, Sloun is gonna be mad.'' Ruck laughed, making his fat belly wobble. ''Don't say out too long, y'know what they say about Solira. Come dawn, get back home.''
''Well maybe if you left me too it already, I wouldn't already be behind.'' I smirked, leaving Ruck a frown on his face. He rushed away to Whitegurd, leaving me alone in the forset.
The sky grew darker coming close of dawn as, I contuined chopping oak of Sloun. ''Stupid work. Why can't Sloun get off his..'' Lost in thought, I heard someone in the distanst. ''Here's the spot! The witch in S'ilk Guard was right, shame...'' I quickly dropped my axe, letting it side from my thrists and hid. ''We had to kill her.''
A large group of bandit's appeared, wearing black capes and rages. A warhorse pulled a wooden cage filled with stolen goods. ''The Eldes should be close.'' The leader touched the wet soils, smelling the earth, ''Two miles south and we'll be at Giellinour.'' His boots dug deep, close to the oak tree. Slowly difting away I stepped heavly on a branch, awakening and disturbing the silents.
''Over there!'' Shouted bandits, ''Get him!'' A large man jerked on my fur covered jacket, causing me to flie backwards. He wrenched my long, shoulder-length locks. Shaking my head, he scared deep into my hazel eyes. Luring his mace at me, I yanked free. Difting quickly through Solira.
''Stop!'' The bandits leader placed his thrist foward, blocking the large man from chasing me, ''Let him run. He'll probley die out there, it's already passed dawn.''
Falling into a soiled ditch near Strong-man's waterfall, I rested myself. Making a fire, I watched the flames dance around the wood as-if like demons. Feeling the warm glow, I watched the sun pluck into the fostly montains of Genllinour. The sunsets colors and intensity of the light is just enough to calm you. Inspirational fires in the sky. Its rays seep into the ash-blue, assemlying purples into the setting skies.
