**this is a short story I wrote for English class*

On the planet Venus, there is a colony of aliens who dedicate their lives to studying humans and how to impersonate them. Many so called humans are from Venus. All Venus inhabitants are supernaturally beautiful with amazing voices and an air of mystical intelligence.

On Venus, the "most beautiful young talent" title goes to Aphrodite. She was seemingly sweet and helpful. But underneath her kind persona laid a dark, hateful, rotted soul. Aphrodite wanted to exterminate all humans, thinking of them as inferior, wasteful menaces.

She planned to do so by traveling to Earth and becoming a rising star. Then, as the whole world gathered to see her perform, she was going to release the deadly vapors from Venus, which would kill them all. No one knew of her plan though, except for her sister, Träumer.

See Träumer was a kindhearted girl of 16 who had a deep love for everyone, including humans. She had never really been noticed by anyone because she wasn't an outgoing stunning star, and because she couldn't compete with her 18 year old sister Aphrodite.

Being the sweet girl that she was, she never quite believed that her sister would really kill all the humans. But, as she was bringing her sister roses and a peach taken from Earth, she found Aphrodite testing the vapors on a poor little fox. Struck with anger at her sister's cruelty, she burst through the door and demanded that her sister stop. Much to her shock, her sister struck her across the face and sneered in her ear that she was a pathetic ugly human lover that deserved to rot on Earth with the scum.

With tears clouding her vision, Träumer picked up the fox and ran to her parent's room. She told them what had happened and told them that she was going to Earth to warn the humans. Her parents denied that their dear Aphrodite would ever do anything bad and told Träumer that she couldn't go to Earth because she didn't have a rocket and she wasn't good enough to produce a charm to make herself look more human.

The latter excuse was true, for Träumer had never paid attention in that particular charms lesson, because, naïve as she was, she believed that the humans wouldn't treat her differently simply because she looked different. But, she did know where to find a rocket. Rushing to her room to pack her bag, Träumer realized that the little fox was still following her, as if it could sense a friendly heart. Without a second thought, Träumer picked it up and ran to the conservatory, where she knew Aphrodite's rocket for Earth was waiting.

Hesitating, she called for a worker and quickly apologized before heading onto the rocket. Quickly, she got out and ran to her sister's room one more time to take Aphrodite's 'pet' wolf before Aphrodite could experiment on the wolf too. Finally ready, she boarded the rocket and set off, playing with the UMS (Universal Map of Space) until she was heading to Earth.

When Träumer first came to Earth, the people looked to her as a goddess, but after the Priest and nuns had a fit, they decided to call her an angel from above. But a skeptical old woman watched closely, and realized how she looked and acted different. The way her glorious shimmery black hair flowed in nonexistent wind, the way she had a fox and wolf with her, the fox, a trickster, and the wolf, a ruthless predator, and the way Träumer's black wings drooped and hung off her back unsettled the woman.

The bitter old woman, unhappy in her painful old age, set out to unmask Träumer's secret. The old woman called together the townspeople and cursed Träumer, calling her Doom and Satan's Daughter. The furious old woman called her a demon, a fallen angel, doomed to all eternity in Hell's fiery grasp. The old woman told all the people that Träumer was only on Earth to kill the humans and send them to Hell.

The townspeople, struck with terror, ran screaming, afraid of Träumer. Others were angry, throwing stones at her and spitting at her. Terrified and alone, Träumer fled to the outskirts of town, finding solace and refuge in the base of a kind willow tree. Naming the tree "Grandmother Willow", she told the tree of her sister's plans and how the people had turned against her.

Even as a hated outcast though, Träumer still loved the humans. The day Aphrodite plotted the death of humans came near, and as the day approached, Träumer got ready for battle. With black war paint on her face, Träumer bravely faced her sister Aphrodite. Mesmerized by Aphrodite's beauty, the townspeople congregated nearby, transfixed by her otherworldly grace. With a concentrated look on her face, Träumer spread out her wings and lifted her arms outward. As Aphrodite released the toxins, Träumer opened her hands and closed her eyes. Even with her eyes closed, she could see the red gases streaming to her and disappearing in the center of her palms.

Hearing her sisters furious shriek, she opened her eyes. Raising her arms above her, Träumer focused all her power to her fingertips. Narrowing her yellow eyes at her sister, she thrust her hands out in front of her as blinding white light streaked out of her hands, burning her sister's sweet complexion, revealing the monster beneath.

With a final push, Träumer split the earth underneath her sister. Tears flowed down her face as she watched her sister plummet down to judgment. Turning around, Träumer expected gratitude, but what she saw was fear, resentment, and a multitude of fingers forming crosses to ward off evil.

Struck with sadness, Träumer ran to the solitude of Grandmother Willow. Black tears ran down her face as she removed the shawl from her mouth, revealing the mask that contained the vapors from Venus she needed to survive.

She cried as she took a knife to her wings, severing them from her back. Weeping as she looked down at her now dead wings, she unclasped her mask. "IM JUST LIKE YOU ALL! SEE?!!" She screamed into the darkness, before falling to the ground in a heap next to her severed wings, dead.

The God of Humans, taking pity on her, turned her into a tree that people later named the Weeping Willow. This was no ordinary tree, for its leaves are black and droopy, and if one looks very closely, they would swear that the leaves looked just like feathers.

Gathering around the tree, the townspeople realized that it's not what you look like that makes you humane, it's how you treat people. They realized too late that Träumer was no monster, but was, in fact, the closest to an angel as anyone could get.
