Death.
When the word is spoken you tend to think of a horrible, painful ordeal that is the worst thing that could happen to you. But dying isn't the part that is painful. The injury leading to your departure from this reality is the pain you read about in books or see in movies. But death, death is a relief. It is like being lulled to sleep by the sound of waves crashing on the rocky shores of some unknown beach, or a breeze, flowing through a field of grass. Once your body has quit, it is a rather peaceful affair. You are gently taken under a veil, into a sweet, and ceaseless infinity.
