Chapter 7: Day 5

Growls were vibrating off the bank's walls every three or four seconds. The sounds rumbling through the walls and ceiling just for it to come back at the wolves who were emitting those sounds. Which only made them angrier so it didn't even help.

"Derek." Isaac sobbed, scratching the polished floors. It's been like that for at least two days, Isaac nails were already torn off and his skin was bleeding onto the floor. He was feral or at least mind blown. He looked like he was in so much pain. The poor beta whining and crying for the last two days didn't help. They got him to stop hurting himself, but now he kept scratching at the floors to keep himself somewhat sane, if that made any sense.

They were all losing it. Cora actually had more control of herself as she sat with her legs crossed, nails digging into her palms and growling lowly. The other alpha, Scott on the other hand was pushing against the mountain ash constantly. Trying to break something that always held werewolves in, no matter what. It was basically pointless. No werewolf in history broke mountain ash and true alpha or not, it just wasn't going to happen.

Derek still had hope that Stiles would come, it would only be a matter of time. He knew Stiles would come. Stiles was his mate. He trusted his mate with all of his heart and he knew Stiles would think of something. Stiles was a genius. He always did research for the pack and read a crap ton of comics. He knew what bad guys would think of. He knew many different approaches the bad guys/villians would take. Even if the others gave up, Derek wouldn't. Derek trusted Stiles, his boyfriend, his mate.

Boom!

Derek looked up at Scott as Scott broke through the mountain ash barrier and stormed at Ennis hurriedly, holding his arm out as it bashed against Ennis' neck into the wall where it popped off. Scott definitely lost all his chill, in fact, this was legit savage. The fact that a werewolf broke through mountain ash was amazing. Then again, he was a true alpha, so that maybe had an effect on him verses the mountain ash. Derek was shocked as he stood up and broke his chains. The chains fell to the floor with a giant metallic sound resonating throughout the vault. He rubbed his wrist, cracked his neck from side to side and up and down before he wolfed out and growled loudly. His fangs popping out of his mouth.

Stumbling up, Derek rushed to Scott to help him as Deucallion swirled his cane and knocked Derek back into the bank wall harshly. Derek fell back with a harsh grunt as he looked up at Deucallion who looked smug as ever. That evil bastard, Derek thought.

Cora looked up from where she sat and rushed full speed into Deucallion, causing his cane to fly out and him to stumble into a closet of bleach where she locked him in only for both her arms to be grabbed by Aiden and Ethan. She struggled for a second.

Growling, Cora swirled her arms around, grabbed both their arms with her arms and twisted around, doing a back flip with their arms and pushed both their chest back causing them to fly into the wall. They both fell down quickly as the wall behind them cracked, a huge hole formed, causing the marble to break slightly.

Full of adrenaline, Cora rushed to Scotts' side as she pulled Ennis' claws out of Scotts throat. Choking, Scott got up as his throat healed, he stomped on the dead alpha's skull making sure he would never come back to life.

Then it came, the huge roar that made the air particles ripple and vibrate with power as Decallion stepped out of the broken closet, face wolfed out and heading towards Scott and Cora who were still recovering from the air rippled roar.

Deucallion growled as he slapped Cora back into the vault right into Isaac, who began scratching Cora's stomach with nail-less finger, eyes fully blown gold and empty. The beta didn't really stand a chance against the moonlight scattered vault.

Scott growled as he charged at Deucallion punching him in the stomach and pushing him into the broken closet of bleach again. He didn't want to hold back this time. He was a true alpha and he would teach this 'demon alpha' a lesson. And that lesson was not to mess with his pack members, they were his family. Nobody would touch them again. Never again!

Walking towards Deucallion Scott raised both his hands to slash him, but was stopped as Aiden and Ethan grabbed both his hands and pulling them out of their sockets along with his legs.

Scott growled echoed as he became human again, sobbing in pain as he was dropped to the floor with all his limbs dislocated.

"Get the slave to rebuild the mountain ash." Deucallion said calmly as if nothing happened. The human rushed into the vault completing a new line of mountain ash, but left an opening as Scott was thrown in. The slave then finished it, completing the mountain ash

"You guys should die it out." Deucallion laughed menacingly as he shut the vault.

"Fuck!" Derek growled as he healed, Cora and Isaac breathed softly as they lay unconscious. Rushing to Scotts aid, Derek dug his claws into Scott taking his pain as Scott lay almost dead.

Derek knew what this meant. His mother had told him what happens if he did this, but he didn't want Scott to die so it would be worth it.

Growling, Derek popped bones back together and screamed into the air as his red alpha eyes became gold beta eyes. He had lost his alpha powers, but it was worth it. He needed to make sure everybody made it. Regardless of the consequences.

Scott lay on the floor passed out, but thankfully healed.

"Fuck Stiles! I need you now..." Derek whined, sobbing into the floor. He didn't know how much longer he could keep his bravery up.
