I woke up refreshed and with a smile. Lately, everything had actually been going pretty well and I smiled happy for the good times I was having now. I climbed out of bed and went to school. "Hey Kel", I heard Dustin's voice from behind me.
"Hey boy", I smiled.
" I'm still carpooling with you home right?", He asked worried for a second.
"Yeah that's no problem, unless you don't want to be late for a date", I smiled mischievously. Dustin had been my best friend for around eleven years now and we loved to make fun of each other... I'm pretty sure it's the only way we stay sane.
"Oh haha, you know I will one day.... I'm just too special for anyway", he cocked his head to the side mockingly.
"Definitely", I smiled. "well I'll see you later"
"Yep see you then", he called and turned to leave.
Hey guys this is one of the first books I've ever written so take it easy on me. I promise it will get better, it's only the beginning...
