My Aunts Neighbor

CHAPTER 1 :

I open my eyes to see the bright Fallville California sun shinning down on me. No matter how much time I spend here in this city I know I won't get used to the hot weather and the feel of my skin like it's boiling all the time as I was thinking , next thing I know I hear my name coming from down stairs.

I go down stairs and my aunt Holly is cooking breakfast she doesn't realize I'm right behind her so she says,

" Caitlyn, come down here breakfast is ready"

I clear my throat , as soon as I do she turns around and says " sorry I didn't realize u were behind me " I tell her it's okay " and I sit down to eat. As soon as she sits down I ask her , "how long will I be here".

She then says " you will be here the whole summer, because your mom and dad need time for them selves while they work their problems out" I then nod my head side to side in disbelief.

I said to her, that I don't want to be here and now that I'm 16 I can take care of my self and I don't need to stay here with her. She acts like she doesn't care what I said and it didn't hurt her feels at all but then, she says let's go get ready and I will take you to get clothes because you need shorts and tank tops and sandals since you didn't bring any since you live all the way in New York. I hope she understands that in that city they only wear long sleeve shirts pants and jackets and boots for shoes. After we had talked for a few minutes about the clothes she gives me a pair of jean shorts and a pink tank top and a black pair of sandals the good thing about the clothes situation is that me and my aunt wore the same sizes in clothes and shoes I walk to the bathroom and get changed and then comb my long blonde hair but the bad thing about my hair is that it doesn't go well with my pale skin as I thought to myself then I go on with getting ready.

We finish getting ready and when we walked out the door of her bright light green house. I hear the next door neighbor close their door and then I take a quick glance over there I soon as I do I see a tall man maybe in his early forties and a boy about the same age as me at the porch of there light blue house. Then the next thing I knew I hear the tall man yell out " hi Holly " and they walk over to where we were standing next to my aunt Holly's car.

She then says "hi" back and gave him a big hug. I'm guess they know each other well if they where hugging. As I stood there awkwardly looking at the boy behind the tall man I then hear my Aunt Holly say " Caitlyn, this is Rob" I then shook the tall mans hand and said "Caitlyn" he says nice to meet you and then Holly says " this is Ty " I say hi awkwardly and then get into the car.
