The next morning, Leo woke up and he saw Twilight still sleeping and he remember what happened last night and he smile. Then Twilight began to wake up and open her eyes.

"Good morning, Twilight." Said Leo.

"Oh good morning Leo." Said Twilight.

"How did you sleep you got any nightmares?" Asked Leo.

"No." Said Twilight." In fact I never sleep this well for years, it was kinda nice."

"Oh good, let's get some breakfast and then maybe we can go ice skating." Said Leo as he got up.

"Uh, okay." Said Twilight, she was supposed to tell Leo something but she couldn't. He just looked so excited at the idea that she did not want to disappoint him, as if she had not disappointed him enough already. She did not love him, but the least she could do was offer her friendship, and being his friend meant making compromises.

When they were done eating, he teleported them to the pond and froze it over. He then made a mismatched skating outfit complete with skates appear on his body and a sparkling purple dress on Twilight. She also had skates on her feet and her tied up.

"Why purple?" she asked.

"I thought it would look good on you," Lei smirked. "And I was right. Now come on! This ice isn't going to skate itself!"

As he began twirling on the frozen pond, Twilight looked down at it unsurely. She took a step onto the ice and tried to balance herself, but fell over.

"Help?" she squeaked.

Seeing her plight, Leo glided over to her. He gently lifted her back onto her feet. She hung her head in shame.

"I'm sorry," she uttered.

"For what?" Leo asked, scratching his head. "Everybody trips every now and then."

"It's not that. It's..." Twilight said.

"What? What's wrong?" Leo asked

"You see, I don't..." The rest was inaudible.

"Come again?" Leo asked.

"I don't..." Twilight trailed off again.

Leo leaned in closer, cupping his ear in his hand. "Didn't quite hear you."

"I...I..." Twilight said.

He lifted her chin. "Come now, Twilight. You can tell me anything."

Two stared into his eyes for a while and then took a deep breath. "I don't know how to skate!"

Leo scoffed. "Oh, is that all? Why didn't you say so?"

"You're...you're not mad?" Asked Twilight.

"That you don't know how to skate? Don't be silly! That means I have the honor of teaching you! Oh, that is," he bowed dramatically, "if you would give me that honor." Said Leo.

Twilight perked up. "Oh, that would be lovely!"

Leo tenderly took her front feet, careful to avoid the blades, and then moved behind her.

"Okay, so basically what you're doing is walking on ice. Take a step forward and..." said Leo.

He stopped as she let out a cry. She had tried to do what he had said only to have her feet wobble, causing her to trip. Because she was in his arms, he caught her quickly. He then set her down on all two.

"Maybe I should show you first." He skated in front of her. "Try it like this." He glided on one foot and said rhythmically, "One, two, three," and then switched to the other foot, "one, two, three... See? Now you try."
