Two men in white lab coats were standing in a gray concrete room. One was holding a note pad and reading off a list of names.  There was  a row of large glass tubs in front of them. In each tube there was a person, six boys and six girls. Most of them were dead except for a few who were barely alive.  Each person, dead or alive, was covered in scratches and had two small tubes stuck in each wrist. One bigger tube was attached to the base of each person's neck. The tubes attached to the dead test subjects were pumping blood out of the bodies to use for further testing and then to be put in new test subjects later. A clear liquid was being pumped into the still living people.

"Bridget- long range teleportation," The man with the clip board said. The other man walked over to a desk and pushed a few buttons. The tubes slid out of her wrists and neck and the bottom of her tube opened and she fell out of sight.

"Jacob- flight," The first scientist said.  The other one pushed more buttons and he also fell down.  He continued to read  off the list of dead people whose names were Lucas, Paul, Aiden, Annabel, and Maggie. When he was done there were seven empty tubes and five with people still in them.

"I think that is time that we tests their abilities in the real world."  The man with the clipboard said.

"Are you sure that you want to do something like that when some of them could implode if they used their abilities too much. And all of them can barely control their abilities. Between the five of them they could easily wipe out the entire American population," The second one stated, his hands fidgeting with the hem of his lab coat.

"If one of them gets too uncontrollable we should be able to kill them," The first one responded. "I implanted a tracker in each test subject.  We will be able to see where they are and what they are doing at all times. Each tracker is also a bomb that will explode when I give a command and kill not only the test subject but everyone with in five yard of the bomb with the push of a button."

The second scientist pushed a few more buttons. The tubes attached to the five people stopped pumping clear liquid and slid up into the ceiling. Each person opened their eyes at the exact same time and flashed silver before returning to their normal colors.

"Where should we send them?" the scientist at the desk asked.

"I was going to send them to several different locations across America. From there they will complete the task I assigned them." The first one responded. Then he walked up to the desk and typed in a few coordinates. He pushed a button and the top of the tubes slide open and a platform raised the test subjects out of sight. A needle was stuck in each test subjects neck and they all were knocked out. Then they were sent out into the world for their final test.

I got the idea for this book at the beginning of the summer when I was on vacation and I haven't had time to write it until now so tell me what you think and I will try to publish more soon.
