"Let go of me damn it!" You scream and he tightens his grip.

"C'mon man, leave her alone" says Darry as he comes up to the car.

"And what if I don't?" The boy in the car says. Dallas walks over to the car and pulls out his switch.

"Would you like to find out?" He says placing his switch blade on the boy's neck.

"Damn he has a switch, let's get outta here" the boy says laughing and he pulls out his switchblade and gets out of the car. He throws you on the ground and you get behind the boys.

"Are you okay Y/N?" Johnny asks.

"Yeah, I'm fine," you say watching the fight that is about to unfold. Dallas and the soc start throwing punches which leads to the rest of the socs to get out of the car. All of the boys fight and then I see a puddle of blood coming towards me, so I look on the ground to see Two-Bit laying in a puddle of blood. All of the socs ran away as soon as they saw him on the ground with blood. You run over to see what's wrong.

"Oh my god are you okay?!" You say kneeling down next to him.

"Yeah, I'm fine," he says trying to stand up, but he clearly can't.

"I think someone should walk Y/N home while we deal with this," Darry said trying to clean up Two-Bit's cuts with his shirt.

"I'll do it" Dallas said helping you up.

"Thanks, but I'm fine," you say.

"The socs know we're out here so we shouldn't walk alone," he says with a smirk on his face.

"I can handle them myself," you say trying to walk ahead of him.

"Well considering I just had to jump in and save your ass it looks like you can't," he said picking up his pace to walk with you. You flick him off and start running home.

"So ya gonna call me?!" Dallas screamed behind you. When you finally get home you lay down on the couch. Your parents aren't home yet so you brush it off and watch some tv. Then someone knocks on the door. So you open it to see a police officer.

"Hi, are you Y/N?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Well I came by to let you know that your parents are in the hospital, they got into a major car accident,"

"Oh my god, are they okay?"

"We aren't sure yet, the car flipped over,"

"Can I go see them?"

"I don't think they are doing well enough to have visitors right now, I'm sorry"

"Oh," you say as you start to cry.

"And since you're only 17 you need a legal guardian until your parents are released from the hospital, I know you're new to the neighborhood, but I saw you with the Curtis brothers earlier and I thought you could stay with them temporarily,"

"Okay, I just need to pack up my stuff" you say wiping a tear from your eye. After all of your stuff is packed, the cop walks you over to the Curtis house. He knocks on the door and Darry answers. You walk into the house to find Ponyboy, Sodapop and Steve watching tv.

"Hi guys," you say attempting to smile.

"Oh hi Y/N," Soda and Steve say without looking away from the tv.

"What's wrong?" Ponyboy says getting up and hugging you.

"My parents were in a serious car accident and they're in the hospital," you say as you start to tear up again.

"That's how my parents died," he says looking down.

"I'm so sorry," you say.

"It was a couple of years ago, but I really miss them ya know,"

"Yeah, I was really close with my grandmother and when she died I didn't know what to do with myself," you say as Darry comes over to you.

"Well looks like you're gonna be living with us until your parents get out of the hospital,"

"Yeah, that's what the cop told me,"

"Well you can have my bed and I'll take the couch,"

"I don't wanna just take your bed like that, I can sleep on the couch,"

"You can have my bed, I really don't mind. You're going through a rough time, you deserve it,"

"Well thanks," you say as Darry shows you to the bedroom. When you get in there you place your bags down on the bed. There is a knock at the door and Darry goes to get it.

"How are you feeling Two-Bit?" You hear from the other room. You rush in to see Johnny helping Two-Bit onto the couch. After you had left all of the boys took him to the hospital. Johnny and Two-Bit notice you.

"Oh hi Y/N, what are ya doin here?" Johnny asks.

"Well my parents got into a serious car accident and they're in the hospital so I'm gonna be staying with the Curtis's for a while,"

"Gee I'm sorry about your folks," Two-Bit chimes in.

"I just really hope they get better soon," as soon as you finish your sentence, Dallas walks in. As soon as he walks in he looks at you.

"Oh hi dollface," he says with a smirk. You roll your eyes and go into the room you're staying in. As soon as you get in there you sit on the bed. A few seconds later you see Dally walk in.
