By-Standers POV

"Clear!" The doctor shouted as he quickly shocked the frail girls body. "Take her to 250! Clear!" He shouted again as he repeated the process. Her small, frail, body arching with each wave of electric shock sent coursing through her body. "300! Clear!" But this time, the flatline started moving again. "We have sinus rhythm." A nurse spoke loudly.

Officers POV

I walked up the long drive-way of the large house that stood before me. It was huge, and a dark brown color; in a modern style of something you would see 200 years ago. I pushed the door bell, and awaited my grim news I would have to reveal. "Yo! Oh hi officer. What can I do for you?" A young man, probably in his mid-late twenties asked me. "I was wondering if a girl named Elliana Jacklyn Casey lived here?" The young mans eyes lit up. "Is she okay?" He quickly asked, worry written over his entire being. I sighed deeply. "Sir I don't know. She was in an accident. A bad one. We don't know if she's going to make-" "Stop. Don't finish that. She WILL make it. Take me there." He grabbed a coat from around the corner, and bounded out the door. "What are you waiting for officer? Start moving." He spoke as he neared my patrol car. Geesh. Kids these days.

Ryan's POV

Oh my god. So many scenarios are coursing through my mind right now. The moment he said.. I can't even think about it. We pulled into the hospital emergency area, and I bounded out of the car before it even stopped. I sprinted to the front desk, half yelling my question at the attending nurse. "I'm here for Elliana Casey!" I tried my best to catch my breath, adrenaline coursing through me . "She's in surgery. Surgical 4. She should be out within a few hours. You can sit in the waiting room if you'd like." The nurse was kind, her face worn with years of working. She was maybe in her late 60s, hands and face worn with many years of work. But right now, I wasn't worried about that. I was worried about 1 thing, and 1 thing only. My precious Ellie. "I don't want to sit in a fucking waiting room!" I screamed out in agony of soul and mind. "I just want her to be okay." I hoarsely whispered as tears started streaming down my face. Heart wrenching sobs shook my body. She had to be okay. She just had to be.

Elli's POV

I could feel myself slowly drifting away, swimming through the black abyss. Deaths hand knocking on the door of my life. I could feel shock after shock as they tried to reach me, my life almost gone. Deaths hand reaching for me, whispering gently to take it's hand. But soon, I was jolted away, back to life, back to reality. Yet it was still dark.
