In sacramento california, my mom was late for giving me a ride home from school. I was waiting for 10 minutes, i had hugged 13 friends so far gotten close with 2, and thought of asking my bestie's mom for a ride for 6 of those ten. It was when i started walking home that i heard a beautiful voice, she sang a song i knew, but some lyrics were changed in the chorus.
When i heard what i needed to i sang along. I was looking at her but disnt expect her to make eye contact. When she did i saw a beautiful face but with a bloody nose and a scar on her neck going in a straight line aross. I went over to her. And since i had a jacket i offered her shade and to sit down. And when we did we were talking as i mentioned my mom. She fliched as i said the word mom...  "Whats wrong?" "i...  Do-ont worry about it..." its was when i invited her over i couldnt wait anymore; i took her into my backyard and asked her again. it stubled out of her like she always wanted it to. "I get abused by my mom... I know i should run away my blade hits my skin i reveal a way to take out sadness.. I see what its like to feel like im beautiful again i reveal a beautiful mark on my body because i took pills to help but nothing does... I reveal something called an addiction... That keeps me from being suicidal!" she yells as she tears up. It turns out shes gay too. Her parents dont accept her a beat her for it. This girl wasnt singing any song she changed it to sing her heart. When she teared up i leaned over and kissed her. When it broke i could feel her gaurd falling slowly to the sound of our hearts beating. I stood up and brought her with. I grabbed her arms and pulled her in a hug its time for a big 'just breathe' moment. She sang again but this time i joined and i did a harmony. When i did i said she could stay here with me and my family.  And from that moment on we both found soulmates. And we sang our hearts together.
