(Feeling Spanish today. Olé!)
Yesterday, Storm-Chan112 and I went Pokémon hunting all over in a college-style village. (Small, cute, lots of shops and restaurants) She says that she is unlucky, but she catches Abra. Mine teleported away. LIKE ALWAYS! I CAN'T CATCH ONE OF THOSE THINGS FOR MY LIFE! AND I'M THE ACTUAL PLAYER! SHE HAS A PICKACHU AND A SQUIRTLE TOO! Grrrrr...
Anyway, we both made out like bandits. I got enough Eevees to evolve mine into Jolteon, a couple Spearows, a Krabby, (We all know he is actually Kito in disguise) an Ekans, a Psyduck, a Tentacruel, MANY (And I mean many) MALE AND FEMALE NIDORANS, (I'm coming for you, Nidoking) a couple Gastly, enough Weedles to evolve Kakuna into Beedrill, some Zubat, a Diglett, an Oddish, a Jigglypuff, enough Caterpie to turn my Caterpie into Metapod, a Venonat, a Drowzee, and enough Pidgeys to evolve Pidgeotto into Pidgeot.
At the final park we went to, we immediately spotted Bulbasaur on our "Sightings Box." We might have spent 30 minutes searching for that little bugger. It disappeared and we never found it. Pretty disappointed about that.
We also got into a minor argument about Team Instinct vs. Team Mystic. She thinks that Instinct is much better than it really is. I've seen only a few Team Instinct gyms, and during my time as a Pokémon trainer, I've been all across Long Island, to Maryland and Delaware twice, to D.C., all the was up to Plattsburgh in New York, in New Jersey and in Connecticut. In all of these places, Mystic dominates. I don't think she realizes that she willingly joined the losing side of the battle. (Also, Articuno is my bestie)
After our eventful day of Pokémon hunting, I drove up to Yankee Stadium to see A-Rod's last game as a Yankee.
(I don't think he'll join the Marlins like everyone is saying he will. THERE'S NO DH ON THE MARLINS PEOPLE! WHERE'S HE GONNA PLAY, THE BENCH? DEFINITELY NOT 3RD!!)*cough* Er, got too carried away there. Oops...
