Jonathan hated the library. It smelled weird, it was too quiet, and the whole aura of the place made him restless.

But of course, fate screwed him over once again.

Due to failing math and history, he had to get a tutor. A fucking tutor. And his stupid tutor had to choose the library to meet.

Stepping into the library, Jon was hit with the same 'I need to do anything that involves moving before I go crazy' feeling. He growled and shoved his hands in his hoodie pockets. After walking around all of the tables, he finally found one labeled 'Tutoring.'

Sitting at the table was a guy and by the looks of it, the mystery kid was smaller than him. He almost laughed at the stereotypicalness of it. The kid had his head down so all he could see was messy brown hair. Jon cleared his throat, sitting down. The kid snapped his head up in surprise before awkwardly laughing at himself.

"Oh. You must be Jonathan. I'm Ryan." Ryan held his hand out.

Jon stared at his eyes for a second. They looked a honey-ish color, but they also had flecks of green. It was sorta pretty? Come on, now's not the time to be gay. He took his hand and shook it.

Ryan smiled happily before speaking. "So I'm helping you with math and history?"

"Yeah."

And the tutoring began.

As the session went on Jon couldn't help but pay attention to Ryan more. Ryan got flustered easily, but when he was showing Jon how to do something he seemed very professional. It was adorably, really.

As the sessions came to an end, Jon stopped Ryan before he could leave. Blushing, he shoved a piece of paper into Ryan's hand. Immediately after Jon picked up his things and walked off. Ryan blinked and opened the crumpled sheet of paper.

If I were a math teacher, I'd say that one plus two equals me and you.

Ryan blushed, grinning. He grabbed his things before leaving and punching the phone number into his phone.
