Entry 1 - The Whole Family Ordeal

I'm adopted. Yes, adopted.

My first family was caring. Sweet, caring, and wonderful.

But then, the Phantoms happened.

I remember it simply. Bepper was running around with Skorm, and Aparri was off in his own little world. Me being one of the older kids, I watched my little Sister.

Aparri was watching our little Sister, too.

"Aparri, what are you doing?" I ask Aparri, his face full of concern.

What I didn't know was that Aparri had yanked the other two inside, but he never knew I was still outside. Skorm was terrified, and I heard Bepper trying to call his Mom.

Doors swing open from the little home built in Mount Shiveer. But it was too late.

"LET ME GO YOU PESKY PHANTOM!" I screamed.

You could see different emotions in the three pairs of eyes.

Aparri was terrified.

Bepper was depressed.

And Skorm looked like he was gonna kill someone.

So what do I do? Simple. Punch the Phantom in the eye. But that was a bad move, seeing as I was moving faster than I thought.

I landed in the trees of Appondale. Far away from my Brother, Sister, and friend. Nobody was there. I was a lone fox.

"Are you okay?" A boy who looks like a koala asks me.

"Yea. Pesky Phantoms took me away from my home." I reply.

I shook my hair, which was covered in mud. It soon returned to the normal purple and black hair with red in a fire pattern.

"Do you remember what land you lived in?" He asks.

"Mount Shiveer." I reply.

I follow the koala to a little bridge.

"Well, let's get going in here." He gestures for me to walk in front of him.

I walk on the bridge, but it breaks when I'm on the middle board. It sends me flying down a large hole.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" I yell, the echoing hitting me back.

It turns out, that hole led into a world outside of Jamaa.

"Huh huh. Where am I now?" I ask out loud.

"Follow me." A weird person says, himself obviously not looking like an animal.

I get up and I follow, obviously hurt and bleeding from my falls.

"Here we are. It's my house." He says while pushing the door open.

I step inside to see a tidy home. A Mother watching Maury, a Father doing the taxes, and the Son running upstairs.

"Hello! Who are you?" The Mother asks.

"I'm Angel. Do you know any way of getting back to Jamaa?" I say.

"Jamaa? What place is that?" She asks.

"Nevermind." I reply.

I walk out the door to find some kind of hospital, wandering alone in the middle of the day.

"What's with those ears? Freak!" A girl yells at me.

I turn to see a group of girls my age, obviously not animals either.

"I'm from another place, where everyone is an animal." I say calmly, not trying to pick a fight.

"Well you look ugly! You freak!" She yells again.

I ignore them and walk away. I need to find a doctor before I get infected.

I eventually found a hospital, and got treated.

Next was to get back to Jamaa.

"Freak!" The girls from earlier stop me.

"I don't wanna pick a fight. Let me through." I growl.

The main girl pushed me.

That's it.

I pounced at her. My claws out.

"Heh." I scoff.

Terror is all I see, then I sense terror as they all become Phantoms, and the world turns into the Phantom world.

"Oh." I speak while I run.

The only thing that remained the same was the house, so I rush inside. The sight wasn't pretty.

The Mom was passed out drunk.

The Son was high.

And the Father was kissing another girl.

There were 3 other girls in the house, too. They looked terrified, and I joined them.

"So, this is the Phantom World?" I ask.

The girls nod their heads up and down.

"Curse the Phantoms. The Alphas need to hear this." I mumble.

My cell phone rings, and it's from Aparri.

"Oh my Mira, you called." I say sadly.

"Where are you? We can't find you anywhere!" He yells.

"Long story short, tell the Alphas I'm stuck in the Phantom World." I cry.

"You're...not serious! Why are you there!" He starts to panic.

"I found a bridge leading from Appondale to Mount Shiveer, so I tried to cross it. The middle board broke and I was sent down here." I explain.

"I'll get the Alphas, then." He says before hanging up.

The rest of the day, all I do is cry and pray to Zios that I make it out alive.
