Entry 20

"Twenty diamonds? How in Jamaa did you get your hands on twenty diamonds?" I ask Countess.

She shrugs, ignoring my question.

"I have my ways. Everyone, take four each." Countess says.

"WHAT?!" Blossom shrieks, causing everyone in the Juice Hut to look towards our direction.

I look over at the cashier, who is shooting me a death glare. Figures. He probably thought I was the bunny shrieking. I always just take the blame so Blossom doesn't get in trouble.

"I can't do that!" Blossom whisper-yells to Countess.

"Yes you can. I know that if you don't, I'll just use my diamonds and buy something for you." Countess says sweetly to Blossom.

Blossom never accepts favors or compliments.

"Mean." Blossom huffs.

"Yay! I won!" Countess squeals.

Blossom shakes her head and laughs. Countess walks to the bathroom so she could change her clothes. I just pull out my phone and open my Jammer Wall.

Skorm - :-)
Me - Hi.
Skorm - You okay? You normally say hOI.
Me - I'm fine dude XD
Skorm - No you aren't.
Me - I'm fine 😄
Skorm - 😻
Me - Wut..?
Skorm - Don't you love cats..?
Me - Yea duh XD
Skorm - And don't you loaf me? XD
Me - ...
Skorm - Aww.
Me - I swear Skrom you're such a jokester.
Skorm - Ily.
Me - 😊
Me - Lol XD

I see Blossom turn to me, and I immediately close out of the chat.

"Talk." Blossom says.

I keep tapping on random chats. Blossom nudges me.

"Talk about what?" I sigh.

Blossom snatches my phone and opens my chat with Skorm.

"About this." She copies my tone.

I feel the heat rush to my cheeks. I snatch my phone back and close it.

"It's n-nothing." I stutter.

Countess turns the corner and walks over to us.

"Guys, come on! It's getting dark and I wanna get to the Diamond Shop today!" Flora whines.

I walk over to the door, holding my barely-empty smoothie. I haven't drank a lot of it.

The five of us shuffle over to the the tiny pier. I turn my head a bit and see the Sun slowly climb down the sky. Princess gasps.

"It's so pretty. We don't see this in Mount Shiveer." Princess gasps.

Sunsets seem so bright in Crystal Sands, they seem so dull in Mount Shiveer, and it seems so dark in Coral Canyons.

"Should we walk through The Lost Temple of Zios?" I ask.

"No thanks. That place is creepy." Blossom shudders.

But we all march on over to The Lost Temple of Zios. I'm ahead of everybody, seeing as I like to inspect the broken Zios statue. I can hear the others catch up with me, and I go to help Blossom through the rest of the Temple. Ever since my Phantom incident, I've been studying up on the Alphas, Mira, and Zios.

"We're almost there. It wasn't bad, was it?" Flora says.

"Ask me when we get to the Diamond Shop. It isn't over yet." Blossom mutters.

"There's the Diamond Shop! Let's go!" Princess yells.

Blossom runs up to catch her, while I walk with Countess. She doesn't want to enter, so I head inside.

I speed-walk over to the armour section, finding some elf tail armour.

Curse my short height.

I tried to jump to grab the tail armour, failing. Since I'm too awkward to ask for help, I plan something.

I jump up and use my ears to grab armour. I fail, but I did get then off of the shelf.

I jump forward, grabbing the tail armour. I hit the floor, thumping.

I see someone hit a stone pillar, with Blossom looking at them. I shoot them a death glare.

I stand up and walk over to the register, putting the tail armour on the counter.

"3 diamonds, please." He smiles sweetly.

I shove the diamonds to him, and return a smile.

"Is your friend okay?" He asks.

"Blossom? I don't know." I reply.

I walk out of the Diamond Shop and wait for the others to exit.

"OH MY MIRA!" I yell.

We're all gathered in Blossom's den for a sleepover. Since tomorrow is Saturday, we don't have training. Countess and Flora are trying to play a movie, Princess I'd brushing Blossom's hair, and I'm texting my best friend. No, not Skorm.

"SHUT UP! FOR THE LAST TIME, I DON'T LIKE JULIAN!" Blossom screams.

"BLOSSIAN!" I joke.

"Well, you did mention you liked a famous Jammer a few days ago." Countess reminds.

"It's not Julian!" Blossom replies.

Princess coughs.

"OW! Princess!" Blossom yelps.

"Sorry!" Princess apologizes.

"Would it be better if I told you who I liked?" Blossom huffs.

"Yes." Countess and Princess replies.

"No thanks." Flora says.

"I don't understand the big deal about crushes." I say, lying.

Blossom mutters something and texts them who she likes. Princess finishes brushing Blossom's hair, and gets the movie started.

The movie was SUPER cheesy. I was hoping it was going to be Deadpool, but they chose The Fault in Our Pizza (if you know where this is from ily).

I force myself to get changed and swig some mouthwash around my mouth because I left my toothbrush at home.

Ping.

I open my Jammer Wall, and see a message from my bff.

BFF - HEY I NEED TO TELL YOU SOMETHING!
Me - What is it?
BFF - #SKORNGEL4EVER 💖
Me - WHY?!

I close out of the conversation and walk over to my sleeping bag.

Ping.

I check the message, assuming she messaged me again.

Skorm has uploaded a new video!

I click the video icon, my headphones stopping the MCR rolling into my brain.

Dear Angel.

I feel a few tears swell up in my eyes.

Pictures of us flash up on the screen. A few of them were just friends being friends, and the others were of me surrounded by hearts.

The last picture was of Aparri, Bepper, Skorm, and myself.

"Dear Angel," Skorm says.

"You're somewhere out there, I know it." He says.

"Please. Just see me again." He says.

"I just want to see you and hug you again." He says, then the video stops.

I hear MCR start to play again, and I run outside, crying.
