Since Cas and Dean know each other, they share everything. They share their secrets, their clothes, their food and their money. And that's why they decided to share an apartment.

It was friday evening, Dean and Cas were rolled in a blanket together and were watching a movie. Cas liked it when they both were so close, so he huddled up against Dean. Dean did nothing but grinned secretly, because he couldn't admit that he liked Cas' presence.

Suddenly Dean's phone rang. It was Lisa, his girlfriend. He picked up and talked to her. "She wants me to come over." Dean said to Cas. Cas, who was pouting, returned. "Why does she always have to call you when we're watching a movie together?" "Cas.. We already talked about that topic, do you remember?" Dean answered. "Well, okay. Then go. Go and let me alone. Again.", he said offended. Dean felt a little guilty and sat down, next to Cas. "We'll spend the whole weekend together, okay? No Lisa, no Sam, just you and me." Dean suggested. "Lisa will call anyway and you will go to her and leave me alone again. I know." Cas replied. "No. Cas, I'm serious. It'll only be the two of us. Promise." "Yeah.. Okay." Cas mused. Dean smiled. "Great." He said, "I'm going then." "Goodbye, Dean. Have fun." Cas said. "I will." Dean said, winked and then he was gone.

Cas was badly in love with Dean. But Dean didn't know that. He also didn't know that his best friend was gay. It was terrible. Not just because he supposed that Dean would never fall in love with Cas due to the fact that Dean thought Cas was like a brother to him, but that he had a girlfriend and that made clear that Dean preferred girls. Cas just didn't know what to do. How to behave around Dean. On the one hand he wanted to confess his love to Dean but on the other hand he didn't, because he was just too afraid that the three words would change everything between them. So he was silent and didn't turned a hair.

Dean came home at 2 am. Cas was already in his bed but he didn't sleep. Dean went to Cas' room to look if he was asleep. He wasn't, but he pretended to be because he didn't want to explain to Dean why he waited for him. Dean walked to Cas' bed. "Cas?" he whispered, "are you asleep?" Cas didn't say a word and didn't open his eyes but he could feel Deans glance on him. The glance rested on Cas' face for a while and then Dean went to his room. He took his all his clothes except of his underwear off. He went to bed and thought about many things. But the thing that mattered to him the most was Cas' face when he had gone to Lisa's. He looked so sad. Was that normal? Sure, Cas was annoyed of Dean always going out with Lisa, but the expression of Cas face said that Cas was kinda jealous. Dean didn't want Cas to be sad or jealous. He wanted him to be happy. Always.
Dean thought about Cas a lot. Probably more than he thought about his girlfriend. He didn't know why. Was he slowly falling I love with Cas? No. That couldn't be. Dean kept telling himself that that couldn't be. He liked girls, not boys. He was 100% straight.
He couldn't prevent the thoughts from coming to his mind over and over again, so he fell asleep with those thoughts. With the thoughts of Cas.
