The Day After

~Kayla's Pov~
As soon as Kera walked away my uber came and I got in, it was a guy in his 20's and he seemed nice so I decided to make small talk "Hey" "Hi, what's wrong if you don't mind me asking" "Boy problems" I mumbled "Oh really, I have a little sister she is 15 and has asked me about this many times" "Oh really" "Yep and I would always giving her advice" "Well I could use some of that advice right now actually" "Mind telling me what happened?" he asked, I nodded my head and told him the whole story. He just kept nodding and made facial expressions at parts he didn't enjoy, I finally finished with this question "You work for my father don't you?" I said raising an eyebrow "Yep, he called saying you were on a mission so I became a Uber driver and came here and drove around the complex" he said pulling into my neighborhood "Ok any advice" I ask "Well you have a good point because he wasn't patient but I don't know what to tell you" he says pulling into my driveway "Ok thanks for the ride..?" "Kevin" "I'm Kayla" I said "But thanks I will tell my dad you said hi" "Ok bye" he says "Bye!" I shout after him. I walked into the house ran up to my room and changed into my pajamas, put my hair in a messy bun and wiped off my makeup, after about 35 minutes later I heard a car parked outside and figured out that it was Kera,Justin, and Connor. I walked towards the door toward the stairs and saw Kera rush upstairs, I turned to her with a raised eyebrow and she nodded I nodded back and she continued to our room to get her pajamas on I assumed. I turned around to see Connor walking up the stairs I turned around before he could see me but it was too late "...Kayla..." he whispered "What" I said turning around and facing him, "Kayla I really really really like you but I think we should break up" he says, I stood there shocked and speechless "If you are going to get mad at me for doing my job, then I should probably find another girl who will" he says, all I did was nod tears in my eye's and ran out the house into the woods, as I was in the woods I found the spot. This was where me and Kera's cabin was and it was huge, I walked up the stairs. I walked around crying because of Connor I texted Kera where I was and for her to bring me some stuff, after that I found my old room laid down on my bed and cried myself to sleep that night.

~Kera's Pov~
"Where is Kayla!" I yelled at Connor "I told you I don't know" he yelled back "You know what Connor I can't even look at you" I said going back into my room, I grabbed 8 bags I filled 4 with clothes,2 with charger's because the cabin has several outlets  obviously,2 bag with electronics. I went to my door and peeked out to see all the lights turned off, I closed my room door and snuck downstairs making sure not to make a noise. As soon as I got downstairs I went straight to garage grabbed my bike walked it out to the backyard and drove off through the woods. As soon as I got there I dropped off all of Kayla's bag in her room and found her asleep, I then went back to my bike back to the front porch grabbed my bags and rode back to the cabin. I set my stuff down in a corner of my room collapsed on the bed and went to sleep. I woke up to about 20 miss calls  and 100 texts from Justin, I went to the kitchen to see Kayla sitting at the kitchen table with her in her hands and her starbucks right next to her. I look to my left and saw my cup sitting on the counter, I grabbed my cup leaned on the counter "So, how many calls and texts?" I ask curiously "25 missed calls and 200 text" she says "You?" "20 missed calls and 100 texts" I said, "Are we going to school I mean it's only the third time day but it feels like we are already halfway into the school year" she says "Yea" I said walking to my room and she walks to hers. I get into the shower do my business, I wrap a towel around my body and decided to choose my outfit first before doing my makeup and hair. I decided I was going to wear a long sleeved white crop top, a black skater skirt, and white high heels, I walked back into my bathroom to start my hair and makeup. For my hair I curled the ends of my hair and for makeup I had on my red velvet lipstick from lime crime, and then I did a winged eyeliner. I walked out of my bathroom and the room and went to the kitchen to see Kayla wearing a black long sleeved crop top, a white skater skirt, and black heels. She had also done the same thing as me for hair and makeup, "Yin and Yang?" she says looking me up and down "Yep" I said popping the 'p' "Kera, how do we get to our cars" Kayla said raising an eyebrow "Oh shit, I drove here on my bike wanna ride it to school?" "Sure" we both say grabbing our bags and walking past the door, I handed Kayla a helmet then put on mine and we started going toward our backyard riding through the front of the house and off to school.
