"We will be landing in 5 minutes, we ask you to please fasten your seatbelts. Thank you." Spoke a women over the intercom. Nicole started rubbing the little girl's back next to her. She adjusted herself then opened her eyes. "Yes mommy?" She said rubbing her eyes trying to wake up. "We are getting ready to land baby," Nicole said softly. "Can we go see auntie Brie." Spoke the little girl named Savannah. Nicole had an unsure look on her face. "Pweeeeaaassseee mommy!" Said the three year old giving her mom puppy dog eyes.
Nicole finally gave in. " I'll text her and see if it's okay" she said holding Savannah's hand as they exited the plane. "But first we have to get our bags baby."
"Okay mommy!" The toddler said happily. They walked over to baggage claim. "Savannah I need you to stay right here while I get our bags. Can you do that for mommy?" Nicole spoke soft but firm. "Yes mommy. I promise!" " And no taking to strangers."
Nicole walked away and looked back knowing her daughter would be gone. She was surprised to see Savannah still sitting there calmly without any intention to move.
She went to the baggage retrieving area and right away spotted Savannah's bright pink suitcase. She quickly grabbed it waiting for her black one. She began to worry when she couldn't find it. Finally she spots it. She grabs it then returns to Savannah. "Ready baby?"
"Yea. Are we going to Auntie Brie's house?" She responded. Nicole look at her watch. "It's too late. It's almost midnight. We can go tomorrow. Right now we are going to Nana's house." "Yayyyyy! I just love Nana!" Savannah screamed. "Uh oh. Mommy I have to go potty." Savannah said with her head down. "It's okay baby lets go."
**********
"All done sweet girl?" Nicole asked.
"Yep!" Savannah said perky.
"Wash your hands and we can go." Nicole said lifting her daughter up to reach the sink.
They two exited the bathroom and headed for the exit. Nicole left her phone in the bathroom.
"Honey, mommy left her phone in the bathroom. Will you wait right here while I go get it?"
"Can I have gum while I wait?" Savannah asked.
"Yes princess." Nicole said handing her some bubble gum then rushed to the bathroom for her phone. When she exited the bathroom she spotted Savannah talking to a tall well built man. She quickly approached the two hearing their conversation. "Mommy said I'm not supposed to talk to strangers. They can be bad people." Savannah said confident. Nicole walked up to them. "May I help you?" She asked kinda rude.
"Yes you can actually." He said grabbing the black suitcase. "I believe this is mine. You don't look like a John Cena." He said being rude back. Nicole's face turned red. "I should get going now." He said walking away.
John's POV
Damn! She was gorgeous. I'd love to wake up to that every morning.
What am I saying She has a freakin child! One who looks exactly like her, who I can already tell will grow up to be as pretty as her mother. She'd probably taken. I had to walk away before the bulge in my pants became noticeable.
Nicole's POV
Damn it! He's a jackass. A hot one though. A face like that isn't single. Nicole! You have a beautiful daughter. You shouldn't be focusing on men. I need to find my bag.
I went over to costumer service to see if they had my bag. It was quiet too quiet. I looked too my side and no one was there. I'm pretty sure my face turned white. My fighter wasn't there. I began frantically looking for her. I spot her running towards my with a black suitcase one just like mine. "Mommy! Mommy! Look what I found! It's your suitcase!" She yelled. I looked at the tag to check if it was mine. It was John Cena's again.
Security approached me. "Ma'am we have your bag. It was accidentally left on the plane." They said. "Thank you sir." He nodded and slightly smiled then walked away.
"Sav where did you find the bag at?" I ask. "Over there mommy." She aid pointing to the men's restroom. Sure enough he was walking towards them. "Ah you again." He said. "Don't flatter yourself. I wouldn't trying be trying to find you if it wasn't for a good reason." "And what may Taht good reason be?" He said cocky. "My princess here was trying to help me find my bag and accidentally thought yours was mine." She said emphasizing the word accidentally.
Nicole looked down at Savannah who had her face buried in Nicole's leg. Nicole could feel her leg becoming wet with tears. She gave John a dirty look and bent down to Savannah's level. Savannah immediately put her head in the creek of Nicole's beck and began to heavily cry.
"Shhhhhh. It's ok baby. Mommy's got you. It was an accident." She picked the young girl up and put her on her hip. "You didn't know." She began crying louder causing people to stare. John stepped in. He placed his big hand on Savannah's back and rubbed trying to calm her down. "Hey it's ok. It was an accident. I'm not mad at you." Savannah looked up at him. "Yo-your not?" stuttering As she spoke. "I'm not. I know you didn't mean to...." He trailed off.
"Her name is Savannah." Nicole said. Savannah squirmed out of Nicole's grip and hugged John.
"What's your name mister?" John looked at Nicole to make sure it was okay to answer, she nodded. "I'm John." "I'm sorry mister John." Savannah said. "Mommy can mister John come to our house for breakfast tomorrow?" Nicole was unsure she didn't really care for him but he was good with children. She agreed. "I'll call you." She said. She took his phone from his hand and programmed her number in. She handed his phone back. "Nicole. I like it. I'll call you tomorrow." He walked away..
"Let's go see Nana princess." Nicole picked up Savannah as they exited the airport. John and Nicole were thinking the same thing.
