Tate's PVO-
I wake up in a panic to only realize I am in the safety of my own bed. I look over at the side table to read the clock. It beams 3:04 am towards my way and I sigh. I realized my blankets are sprawled on the floor so I hang off the side of my bed and pull the cold fluffy blankets over my body. I slowly close my eyes and let the darkness take me away yet again.

Violet's PVO-
I open my eyes to see the sunlight beaming through the car window. Ahh yes. Filthy, shitty California. My screwed up family decided we needed a change. But that's bullshit. Nothing's going to change. What's done is done.

Four months before now my mom had this bruddle miscarriage and had to deliver the baby dead. Then two months after that fuckface up in the drivers seat cheated on my mom. WITH ONE OF HIS STUDENTS! I mean how stupid can someone get in a moment like that. But being the good person my mom is she took fuckface back. He doesn't deserve her though. He doesn't deserve horse shit.

"There's so much smog here in California" I sigh as we drive down a freeway. The cloud start to cover the sun and make the world around us dark...depressing. I love it.

"You should be happy Vi! You can stop sneaking cigarettes and just take a deep breath!" My dad snaps back sarcastically. I quickly try to change the subject.

"I need to go to the bathroom"

"We are almost there"

"Well I need to go right now" I say pressing the subject

"Vi it's a goddamn freeway do you want me to pull over so that you can piss with a bunch of cars driving by?" There it is again...the shithead that just keeps talking

"I bet if baby over here had to shit you'd stop somewhere" I'm not going to let it go though

Really violet!" Both of my parents say in unison

"I am just so happy that we named you violet" my mom adds in cheerfully

"Well what was the other choice?" I ask not thinking

"Sunshine!" They once again speak in unison only this time they look at each other and laugh...I laugh in with them sarcastically.
