Chapter Two

When I woke up this morning, Clear was sitting in my rocking chair . He had spent the night .. " good morning " . He said as he looked up at me . I smiled as I wiped the sleep from my eyes, yawning I finally decided to say hello . " morning, how did you sleep?" I asked him in a soft tone . He smiled "I slept fine . Anyways it's daylight and we don't have many hours of light until night fall, meet me at the secret entrance  tomorrow before dark, there is something I want to show you . Also I'm gonna head back to my place " he said as he gave me a hug and he left . I told him to be careful and that I'll meet him at the wall tomorrow night .  Soon I heard a knock at my door, when I opened it .. I threw my arms around her . She did the same .. Katherine and I were best friends since before we came out of the womb. " you were gone yesterday and well I didn't see you come home .. I thought a night howler had gotten a hold of you ". She said with a concerned expression on her face . I laughed lightly as we both pulled away from the hug," no.. I uh .. Well I bumped into the famous Clear " . I said . She walked inside before she replied .
" you did not !"
" I did , he filled my back pack "
" what was he like?"
" handsome, charming, sweet "
" what all happened "
" he spent the night and I am to meet up with him tomorrow night "

Katherine and I went on and on for hours that day, she had to go home the next morning due that she was the one who provided for her family, I always help out when I can and I gave her some supplies such as food and clothes to take back with her . I left my tiny shack house at 5:00pm and by the time I reached the secret tunnel it was just starting to get dark. Patiently I waited for clear , and soon enough he came, he had an extra set of real fancy female clothes , he handed them too me as I noticed he read my facial expression. He cleared his throat before saying " put these on, you'll blend in .. I want to show you how it's like .. " he said . I smiled as I went behind a bush and I changed into the skinny jeans and velvet vans Tee . With brand new white convers. " I feel... Different " .   I said . He nodded . "Your not used to the fabrics they use now , it's okay just follow me and act normal " . He said. We both walked through the tunnels and I realized that it was hard to move around in these tight clothes,  but a little part of me liked them . As we made it to the surface from the tunnel I noticed all eyes were on us . " why are they staring ? " I say in a whisper . He laughed lightly under his breath . "Cause your the only girl they have seen me with ". He said . I nodded .."A-Are you..?" I said as he knew what the question was leading to. "No.. I'm not gay ".. He said as it caused me to laugh lightly . I nearly jumped out of my skin when I heard the beeping and zooming of the cars . Clear laughed at me and pulled me close "hey it's alright Salem ". He chuckled softly in my ear, he gave me chills when he did that.. Hugging me from behind when I noticed some jealous females dart ugly looks at me . "I have a feeling that no one likes me up here ". I said, he smiled as he held my hand and I intertwined our fingers together. We passed by many shops before I asked him where we were going . "Well, we're gonna go to the very top of the highest building ". He said . "Umm.. Okay ". I said as we continued to walk . "Well I hope you aren't afraid of heights". He said as he gave me a smirk .
