I sat at the edge of my bed, peering down at my damaged wood floors.

"its time Shay!" Mrs.pierce yelled from downstairs.

over and over again I go through this process. Entering a new home, introducing myself and pretending that the dinner my new foster parent made me was good. I nodded and grabbed my suitcase off the bed. I tucked my dirty blond hair behind my ear and walked into the living room standing next to the social worker suitcase is hand.  My previous foster parents looking down at me.

"were sorry things are not working out the way we wanted it to," my previous foster parents said. Of course, they were spitting plane lies considering the only thing they cared about was the money they were receiving from me and the pleasure they got in my pain. I nodded not saying a word or looking into their plain gray eyes before picking up my bag and going out to the social worker's car. On the way there I looked out the window watching as the puffy white clouds moved past my car, the clouds trailed now far in the distance as new clouds took their place. As the clock on my phone read 9:30pm and we pulled up to a large home in a little community. The walls were painted a lovely blue, as the outside decor held  a bundle of red and purple flowers. I walked up the pathway to the wooden door with Mrs.Pierce my social worker and knocked. A pretty brown haired woman answered the door. Hi, you must be Shay, my name is Ema. I nodded and walked inside to a couple of people.

"This is Jim, my husband, matt my son and Taylor my daughter," Ema said pointing to them all as they all gave me an awkward smirk.

"So you people take in a couple fosters kids now do you?" I said in a low tone.

she laughed a bit.

"no Shay these are my biological kids"

I nodded" so I take the couch?" i asked looking into the living room.

"ughh no, you will be bunking with Taylor" I smiled at her politely and she walked me to her room.

We walked into a room pink as could be two beds on either side of the room.

"so Taylor where am I sleeping?" i asked looking around.

she pointed to the bed with pink covers. i set my stuff down beside it and pulled the covers over my body.

"so Taylor, you and your family close?" i asked.

she turned looking at me, "yes we are, my mom almost died a few months ago so since then she has wanted to make a difference, take someone under her wing" she said.

"that explains why I'm here," i said, someone was feeling bad and decided to help me out for a few days, then through me away again," i said plainly.

"look my mom would not just throw you away. We are not like that"

i nodded and turned around, i checked my phone.

(one new message)

"don't think you got away that easy"
