Chapter/1
A story by @princesswherpen
"Wake up with determination, go to bed with satisfaction" I shake my head. More like wake up determined to go back to sleep satisfied. I close my laptop screen, the harsh light hurting my eyes as my vision goes black. Putting my hands on my cheeks, huffing a sound and closing my eyes.
Even been so bored you stare at your ceiling and try to create pictures from the design of the stipple? Well that's what I'm doing right now. Creating pictures out of my fricken ceiling. I've even been so bored I did the whole "Pinterest" adventure of 'What to do when your bored', or the good ol' "motivational quotes" thing where it tells you sappy healthy fit slogans or "don't be someone your not, your unique..." and blah, blah, blahhh.
But I've done it many times. Once I even felt motivated enough to get my lazy ass out of bed to go for a run but as soon as my foot hit the hardwood floor on the bottom of the flight I got distracted by Mrs. Vicky's Salt n Vinegar chips, determined I looked at the serving size to fake my "healthy lifestyle" and scoffed. 120 calories for 12 chips. Who the hell only eats 12 fricken chips? Annoyed I grabbed the whole bag and climbed up the stairs back to my lightless room and slammed the door
Screw exercise. Who needs it anyways?
I come back from my wandering thoughts and escape back to my tedious reality. I open my laptop yet again, distracted by my wandering thoughts.
"Faith and determination is what keeps me going" I rub my forehead, looking at yet more lame quotes.
"Actually its what keeps me in bed, thank you very much Anon. I'm sure the only thing keeping you motivated is the large ego you've created" I'll puke if I have to read anymore tonight.
I roll over onto my back and check my phone, to see an empty screen.
Talk about popular much. I groan as I roll over and fall into a dreamless dream.
