Best Friends

                

                      The door came wide open and Ollie and Dylan entered. Joel hung his head. "Shoot me not Lizzie. She needs to live!" He shouted. Ollie had his gun and was about to pull the trigger. They heard a bullet. All of a sudden Dylan collapsed on the floor, blood bleeding  out of his back. A girl walked behind his body on the floor. She kicked it to the side. Lizzie was smiling. "I've wanted to do that ever since he stole my best friend," the girl said. Lizzie started to remember. It was her best friend Maria! Well, May for short. They used to be neighbors from first grade to ninth grade. That's when Lizzie found Dylan and they moved far away. Ollie pulled the trigger right at Joel. The world had basically gone in slow- motion. May rushed over and tried to kick the bullet out of Joel's way, with her zippered and studded boots. It hit Joel right in his chest. "JOEEEEEELLLLLLLL!NOOOOOOO!" Lizzie sobbed. May quickly acted fast. She kicked Ollie's gun out of his hand and shot him. She cartwheeled over to Lizzie. She untied her hands and feet and pulled her away from Joel. "I can't just leave him!" she sobbed. So, May and Lizzie ran out of the house with Joel's body on their backs. The hopped in May's car. Lizzie was sniffling for a while. Then she finally asked May " Where did you learn all those moves? Thanks so much for saving us." May glanced at her. "With you gone, I had nothing to do so Mum sent me to Martial Arts. She said it was to help me make friends, I said it was to collect skills so I can one day save you. She thought I was crazy."Lizzie chuckled. She looked at May's outfit. It was awesome. Her brown hair was ombre with pink. She was wearing a light pink jacket and a black t-shirt that had few rips. She wore black ripped jeans and studded boots. Lizzie had to get some leather now.
