It was Saturday. The day we were going to attack Harry Potter. Eight Death Eaters, including my mother, had been chosen, and my father was going as well. They didn't take as many as planned because Yaxley said they needed few people to do the job. I do hope he was right. Well, he knew if he was wrong he was as good as dead, so he must be sure. I had been fidgeting with my wand all day, completely restless. I knew something was going to go wrong, I just knew it. I had told Draco already, but he dismissed it, not openly of course.

I had just said goodbye to my mum and watched as the Death Eaters turned into smoke and rose into the air, fading into the cloudy sky. Satisfied, I made my way back to my room. I opened my door, still fidgeting with my wand. The time passed spectacularly slow. When I couldn't wait any longer, I decided to return to the other Death Eaters. Just as I put a hand on the doorknob, I heard shuffling footsteps. They passed my room, continuing down the hall. I slowly peered out and saw someone slowly walking away from me. I recognized him as Yaxley. Curious, I waited till he was a fair distance away, and followed him. His wand was lit as he ventured into a part of the manor I was never allowed in, and I don't expect he would be either. He walked down the stairs into the basement, luckily leaving the door open a little bit. I was so intrigued as to why he was down here, I forgot to close the door behind me. I followed the light emitted from his wand and watched as he hastily searched through pieces of parchment and books. He cursed over and over when he couldn't find what he was looking for. As I took a better look around the large room, it was full of shelves. The shelves held glass containers, books, parchments and everything in between. He finally found what he was looking for, and made his way out. I followed him up the stairs and to the dining-room. Before he could join the others or Disapparate, I pointed my wand at him.

"Immobulus!" Yaxley froze in place, and I circled around him.

"You!" he could only move his eyes, which were glaring at me.

"Tell me what you have and why you sent so few Death Eaters," I spit, filled with rage. I broke the spell and he dusted himself off.

"Calm down, no need to get your knickers in a twist," he had a grin on his face, showing golden teeth. "Who says I did anything?"

"You're sneaking about another's house in search of something," his smile transformed into a scowl.

          "You have no proof."

"Accio parchment!" the curled piece of parchment flew from his pocket into my hand before he could catch it. "Do I really?"

"Ahh, but now you are the thief," I sneered at him.

"Stop changing the subject. Why did you agree to send so few Death Eaters to capture Potter? Was it a trap?"

"Why suspect me? Severus Snape is the one with all the information, apparently, I had a 'false trail'. He used to be on their side, you know."

"My father trusts Snape. Not you. Now tell me or I'll use an Unforgivable Curse."

"A little girl like you couldn't even say the words," I flushed with anger. Before I knew it, I raised my wand, uttering the forbidden curse.

"Crucio!" his sly grin transformed into shrieks of terror. He fell to the ground, convulsing. I stopped, unable to listen to his cries any longer. He looked up at me with the same grin and laughed.

"You'll never get anything out of me like that," I heard the door open behind me, followed by a few sets of footsteps. I didn't turn to see who it was, my anger overpowering me.
