"Fuck," I quietly cursed in frustration.
I gave Luna a quick peck before rushing to put my clothes on.
Moments later my father entered the room and I silently thanked God that we had manged to fully dress ourselves in time.
"You're home early" I grumbled unsatisfied by his sudden appearance.
"Hi Josh," Luna sweaty greeted ignoring my sudden change in mood.
I didn't want it to be this way, really; but ever since my mom passed away it just never got better with me and my father. I pondered over the memories of my mom before shaking my head, my messy hair falling over my forehead before I shoved it back in frustration. I stormed out of the room and into the bathroom. I knew Luna would understand, she had always been there. As soon as I got to the bathroom and slammed the door behind me. My breathing was heavy and unsteady. I had to get out of here.
I rushed down the stairs after finding that Luna was no longer in my room where I'd previously left her. I turned toward the kitchen where her soothing voice seemed to be coming from. I stood in the door way, my plans of escaping the small house seemed to go down the drain as Luna smiled up at me from her place at the table. I knew she wouldn't push it, that if I asked her to get me out of here she wouldn't argue for one moment but something in the sad of her eyes look told me that my father had said something.  So I shut my mouth and sat next to her, not for any ones sake but Lunas. I sat quietly throughout most of the dinner, Lunas gentle touch under the table was the only thing keeping me from loosing it. I hadn't touched my food and of course my pathetic father couldn't just leave it... "You're not hungry?" He asked knowing it would set me off. I clenched my jaw, " Obviously," I snapped back. "Don't you dare talk to me like that" He yelled back. That's it. I can't hold it in anymore. I shoved at the table, pushing myself up. I know it to Luna by surprise, I didn't want to frighten her, but she had seen me at lower points and I just couldn't keep it together anymore.

Luna POV

I placed my small hand on Mornings shoulder. His breathing was unsteady. I had seen him much worse than this but for his dad's sake and his sake I had to get him out of there."Morning" I wispered taking his hand in mine and attempting to pull him towards the door. He soon followed but nit before shoving a plate off the table, it shattered as it hit the floor and I didn't even stop to apologize or attempt to help clean up. My only goal was to get him out and away from this house.
