I rested my head against Blaine's shoulder. Yes, Blaine as in Blaine Anderson, the world famous pop-star. I was a VIP at one of his concerts and we sort of bonded. Anyway, he invited me to join him on the rest of his tour, so of course I said yes. And now, the tour is over and we're flying me back to Lima in Blaine's private jet.

"What are we going to do when you get back?" Blaine asked.

"I don't want to talk about it."

"Come on, Kurt. You've been delaying this all week. It's happening! You're going home, and I'm flying right back to LA. We both know we can't do long-"

"I know!" I said, lifting my head to look into his eyes. His beautiful eyes. "That's why I don't want to talk about it. It's like waking up, you know? I go back to being the lame college grad still living with his parents, and you'll go back to being Blaine Anderson. Dream over. The end."

"But it doesn't have to be like that!"

"You said it yourself," I replied, mumbling. "Long distance doesn't work. Especially when you're busy doing shows, and photoshoots, and I don't even know what 24/7."

"But we don't have to wake up forever! Eventually the sun goes back down, and I can keep dreaming with you," Blaine said. He hovered his finger over my cheek, pulling me closer to him. Our lips touched, and I was taken over again by the fantasy.

I pulled away slowly, and my gaze was towards the small window. The sunset cast a beautiful red-orange shadow over the towns and fields. There wasn't much happening in Ohio, and when we reached the parking lot to land the plane, I was glad to be home.

We stepped off the jet, and it took my body a second to become firmiliar with the ground again. I took Blaine's hand in mine as we walked the half-mile to my house, his attendants carrying my luggage a few feet behind us. Our hands swung to the beat of out footsteps, and the small town of Lima, Ohio continued on.

When we finally reached my house, it hit me that I had lied to my parents about where I had been. Why was I so okay with putting things off until I really had to deal with them? A plan quickly formed in my head as I unlocked the door and stepped inside, Blaine and his attendants following close behind. It was only 7:16, and the rest of my family, Burt, Carole and Finn, were sitting in the living room watching some comedy.

Burt stood up and walked over to greet me at the door. "Kurt! Welcome back! How was.." his voice trailed off when he saw Blaine and the two men wearing black suits and sunglasses standing next to me. "Who's this?"

Before I could answer, Carole and Finn were right behind Burt, and both of their mouths were dropped dead open. "Dude? Is that? Like, real? Is he the real- um?" Finn, at a loss for words, gaped down at the significantly shorter Blaine.

"Hey!" Blaine said, and reached out to shake Finn's hand.

"Kurt, honey, what's going on? Are we being pranked?" Carole, eyes wide, and body quivering, asked.

"It's kind of a long story," I said. "But, um, yes, this is the real Blaine Anderson, and, um, I wasn't really in LA. Well, I was, but only for a day, and, do you want to sit down?"

Blaine turned around and whispered something to the two men, and they walked outside the door, leaving my things. The five of us made our way to the living room and sat down.

"So, um, guys, as you know, I was a VIP at Blaine's concert, and..." I continued to tell them about meeting Blaine, him coming out, me singing with him, and then going on tour. I left out the romance, and convinced them we became friends. I could tell Finn didn't believe me.

"That's... amazing!" Carole said, filling in the awkward silence. "I'm so happy for you," then she turned to face Blaine. "We're all big fans in this house."

Blaine slapped his hands on his knees and stood. "Kurt? I'll help you take your things to your room and then I really have to get going. We gotta fly back to LA and start filming the video for Not Alone."

"When you're done come back down so we can hear all about your trip! You must've seen some cool things!"

I nodded and smiled, but the only 'cool thing' I saw was Blaine Anderson shirtless. Blaine and I rolled my things downstairs and I threw my stuff on the floor. Blaine leaped on top of me, and we both fell on top of the bed. He started kissing my neck, but I pushed him off. "I don't want our last kiss to be rough."

Blaine sat up. "Okay," I knew he understood. This was the last time in a while I would feel his lips against mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him in to me. I felt his body heat radiating through me.

He pulled away, slowly, and I squinted to prevent the tears from rolling down. "I have an idea. Would you, Kurt Hummel, go to the Grammys with me?"

I smiled and nodded quickly as I pulled him into a hug. "I'm gonna miss you so much."

"I'm gonna miss you too," he said, and I rested my head on his strong shoulder. "Thank you."

"For what?"

"For the dream."
