"Lyric-c-c-c." My father sung. I could see his feet along with four other pair of feet trailing behind him. He first went to my bedroom. I could hear it being torn apart. I breathed heavily. I gazed over at Aqua's ass. Hell, if she didn't want to run and save her own ass then that was on her.

"Aqua." I whispered, "I love you." I told her.

She sniffled a bit, "I love you too Lyric." She whispered back. Aqua was my friend, actually more than my friend. When shit went down between the walls of the row house that my father and I shared she was there for me. She knew all about us playing 'house'. My father was ill in the head, Aqua was even 'mommy' at one point of time, that's how I actually met her. Playing house with my father.

"Your father is sick! So damn sick!" Aqua hissed.

I rolled my eyes, "Aren't we all."

I slid my body back across the wooden floor, was just about to ease from under the slay bed. Then all of a sudden his face popped up. I swear he was like a spawn of the damn satan!

"There you go baby girl!" He smiled wickedly.

He reached his hand out, I stared down at it pathetically and shook my head no.

"Daddy! Noooo!" I screamed on top of my lungs, feeling my legs be snatched from under the bed. Next I heard Aqua screaming too. We were faced by my father, two Debo looking ass niggas. Big as hell, big oversized arms, big bodies with small ass heads. I was the least bit intimidated by them. Nope not all, but the bitch that was carrying the big ass machine looking gun. That's who pumped fear in my blood. She was light skin with crazy grey eyes, she wore a patch over her right eye. Even with the patch and the evil mean mug that was graced on her face, she was angelic as hell. I seen all the beauty inside of her, but truth to be told, she was pure evil and cold hearted.

Behind all of them was a man, who was maybe in his late twenties, he was a beautiful caramel complected. He was tall, maybe about 6'2. A physique like he lived in the gym, damn his arms looked so damn strong. And not to mention how damn fine he was.

I grabbed Aqua's hand and held it tightly. I could feel her shaking throughout her entire body. I stared at her and she was so damn scared. I felt so damn bad for her.

"Sweet Lyric, it's only temporary." My father began.

Hearing the sound of a small flood, I stared down between Aqua legs, a puddle of pee fell at her feet. Her legs were just as shaking.

"Grab the girls. Fuck the sweet talk. Zion wants both." The female stated.

She held the gun up, gripping it firmly. Her finger happily rested on the trigger.

"Daddy please don't do this." I began to cry. Realizing that shit was about to get real ugly.

My father held his head down and could barely look into my eyes. He didn't just betrayed me, he was betraying Aqua as well. Everyone on the streets knew exactly who Zion was. He didn't just run a lucrative drug trade all across the state, he was the man on the streets. Some looked up to that nigga like he was God. At the end of the day, what Zion wanted he got.

The two men grabbed us and tried to restrain us. Aqua began to snap.

"No you mother fuckers don't touch me! Don't touch me!" She screamed on top of her lungs. Fighting and claw like a corned cat, she broke away from them. I never in my life seen someone take off so damn fast. Her little ass was ghost.

The girl held the gun up, BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Her body jerked as the gun let out three powerful rounds.

"Aqua-a-a-a!" I screamed on top of my lungs. Smoke filled the room, the shots echoed throughout the entire house then went completely silent.

Once the smoke cleared, my heart tore into a million of pieces.

"Aqua! Nooooo!" I screamed on top of my lungs....
