I walked into my new school, my head down, and holding my books tightly. I look up and see two of my friends from Grade School. Ashlynn and Skye. They were talking to a group of people they hang out with. They were already popular. I walked up to their circle and stood there until someone noticed me. My head was down so I didn't notice them at first until they said my name.

"Alyssa! Hey how have you been?" I looked up at my closest friend and smiled. Skye has brown hair and bright purple eyes. Skye and I have been friends since 2nd grade and we're close. We were both pretty shy until last year, 5th grade, when she started dating the most popular boy in school, Corbin. They were still dating and now she was in a popular group. I was just there, no one ever noticed me so I kinda just stood there. After Skye said that Ashlynn turned around and said.

"Oh, Alyssa, hi!" I smiled at her without saying a word. Ash was pretty sporty and girly. She was mostly normal looking though. brown hair and brown eyes. They both turned back to listen to the things that the popular kids were saying. Most people think that if you hang out with the populars you get more noticed, right? Wrong! At least with me. I hang out with them enough and no one knows who I am.

I looked at the kids around and noticed two girls that could make me smile no matter what. Kay and C. I walked up to them. They were bickering, like they always used to. Kay has longish brown hair and brown eyes. She is one of the loudest craziest person I know. Today, she was wearing blue skinny jeans and a white tank top. C has long blonde hair and is tall and skinny. She has blue eyes, but they were kinda green. She is another of the loudest craziest person I know. C was wearing her normal outfit, black sweater, white t-shirt, and normal skinny jeans. I laughed quietly and Kay turned to me. She looked at me then shook her head and started yelling something about me always taking C's side. I shook my head and walked to what I know is the cafeteria.

I was hit with about 50 people screaming. I ducked my head lower and walked quickly to the first empty seat I saw. I sat down and noticed I was next to a whole bunch of 8th graders. I looked to my small black backpack and then decided I might as well read. Reading is one of my favorite things to do. That and drawing. Not that anyone knew that. I was reading Supernatural The Unholy Cause. My secret: I was a huge fangirl. I was in the Supernatural, Merlin, Doctor Who, Sherlock, and anime/manga fandoms. They were the only good thing in my life. Other than my friends.

I then realized that I couldn't read because of the noise, so I stood up and started heading to the bathroom, hoping it was empty. It was, luckily, so for a moment I stared at myself in the mirror. I wasn't really pretty. I was short and I had short, thick, white hair, I also had two different color eyes, which I covered with an eye patch on my left eye. My shirt was a huge white 'Nightmare Before Christmas' shirt. It was really loose. I hate tight shirts. I had on black skinny jeans, that were my favorite, and a big blue sweater.

I sighed and walked back out. The bell should be ringing soon. I was about to walk into the hallway, when I ran into someone. He was tall but I didn't look at his face. He was in front of a big group of boys, who all became silent when I ran into the 'leader'. He was older than me maybe an 8th grader. Also he was obviously a popular. I could feel his stare but since I ran into him I didn't look up. I was looking at the floor, where he couldn't see my face. I mumbled 'sorry' and went as far to the side as I can so that he could get past me.

As he walked by I looked at his back. All I could see was that his jacket was black, he was wearing black skinny jeans, and he had dark hair that was just past the tips of his ears. I was right, he was popular. I sighed, mad at myself for running into him and quckly walked out. As soon as I walked out I heard a shrill ringing and realized that was the bell. I looked down at my schedule.
