This is Vocabulary. Very important to know. Honestly, I won't use the meaning in this book. I will use the word. Okay?
Read this in order to finish the book.
You will come out of this smarter.
(Not saying you are dumb, I'm saying you get smarter by reading this vocab page.)

Let's go.Keeping an eye on a person and monitoring his/her activities is called surveillance.
In spy talk, to tail or shadow means to follow someone.
A spy who does this sneaky job is called a tail or shadow as well.
Spying is a dangerous job. To protect himself/herself, a spy often uses an alias , or a fake name to cover her true identity. The spy also often uses a cover , or a fake backstory (along with an alias)
A brush contact is a very short meeting between two spied during which top secret information is exchanged. To an observer, the meeting is accidental. The spies never chat or act like they know each other.
A spy who invents secret codes or uses them to write secret messages is called a cryptographer. A spy who decodes them (or breaks codes) is called a cryptanalyst.
That's all you need to know! (There is TON more, but its too much to write.)
See you, AIT's ;)
