Miss Hope waved us bye and told us there will be special treat for Mandy and Me. Mandy held my hand tight as we rushed down the stairs. I froze as I saw lots of girls looking at me seeing as I was new, But mandy walked holding my hand tight with no fear sitting on a empty bench. Ellen and Carmen sniggred looking at me. I stuck my toungue out and turned away stunned for what i had done.
"Here you are, my lovelies..." smiled Miss Hope giving Mandy and me extra crunchy, with double butter and strawberry jam toast, With big glasses of Orange juice. We drank and ate hungrily as we dont get much to eat.
Mrs Brady was an old lady who was quiet strict. She taught us maths and english, Mandy was super quick at solving the sums. "Wow! how do you do it?" I said stunned. "Do what?" said Mandy confused. "Solve these sums so quickly, I cant even do one." I said feeling a bit shy. "It's easy if you put your heart into it, and work hard, here i will show you, fisrt add the brackets and then times answer by the bracket with the outside number and there you are, you've got your answer." said Mandy explaining clearly enough. We both stared into each others eyes and then started gigling. I heard some whispers and then suddenly i fell right off my chair I turned around to see Carmen and Ellen "This for that tongue you stuck out at us. So you better watch out, you wouldn't want to mess with us. " Said Ellen and carmen at the same time, I looked away seeing the whole class laughing at me. My face started burning I could not belive for what I was going through. Mandy tried picking me up But Ellen pushed Mandy so she fell on her face, getting a bright red cheek. Carmen and Eleen Snorted laughing harder than ever. I picked up Mandy wiping her tears.
"What on earth is going on here, I just went outside a minute. Carmen and Ellen gasped Even they were scared of Mrs Brady. Carmen suddenly started crying "Oh Mrs Brady, Mandy and Stephanie pushed Ellen and me on the floor and started laughing at us." Faked Carmen.Mandy and I gasped.
"Stephanie and Mandy come here now!" Shouted Mrs Brady Getting her whipping cane out , we trembled as we walked towards her. "Mrs Brady honestly we didn't..." Mandy started but Mrs Brady wouldnt here of it. "But Mrs Brady It was them who pushed us on the floor and then..." I cried. "No buts! Your the new girl aren't you?" Questioned Mrs Brady. "Yes! But we didn't do anything!" I said persuading her. "You... How dare you...How DARE you question me!" Shouted Mrs Brady Her eyes going red. She snatched Mandys' hand wacked her with her stick really hard making poor Mnady get a mark on her soft hands. Mandy wailed "Dont You dare make another sound or I'll hit you even more, But Mandy couldn't stop so Mrs Brady hit Poor Mandy on her back so that Mnady quitened down.
She looked towards me, as i beckond away."Why are you hitting her? What did she do? Infact it wasn't even her it was those two stupid girls." I shouted My heart beating fast. "Come here, I dont want to hear another word from you!" She said she pulled me from my ponytail and hit me with her cane on my forhead causing it to bleed.
