Chap 17 Shut Up, I Only Want Her Voice Tonight

Jayy's Pov

I drove to the hospital and as I was driving thoughts of her lifeless body right in front of me started flashing before my eyes. I couldn't understand why but I didn't want anything bad to happen at all, especially to her or myself.

I walked into the hospital and stopped at the front desk "Hello, I'm here to visit Evelyn Griffs I'm her husband" the lady smiled "Yes, room 27" I smiled and walked away. As I got to room 27 temptation fueled me up I needed to know even though I didn't want to know at all, I slowly opened the door and I saw her laying down in bed along with a nurse looking at her.

I was about to cry, she was okay at least from my point of view. I walked closer and smiled "Oh look Evelyn" the nurse said "You have a visitor" she didn't even look at me. I grabbed her hand and smiled "Evelyn baby, it's me Jeremy your husband" her eyes got huge as she herd my voice, "miss me?" I asked and she cried.

"Evelyn's been waiting for someone to visit her, but sadly she only has one visitor and that's me" I grabbed her hand and kissed it "Hey baby girl" I said and she blushed. She was beautiful minus everything she's hooked to, I grabbed her chin and smiled.

The nurse walked out for a second and I sat across from her "Don't worry baby, I'm gonna find who shot you and give them my fist" she squeezed my hand hard "Is that a no?" I asked and she blinked once "Evelyn baby, I don't want him to be out there still hunting you down" She didn't want me to do that, I could tell by her eyes.

I played with her hair and then the nurse came back "how is she doing?" I smiled "she's doing okay, it's just she isn't talking" "well she has a tube in her throat were gonna remove it soon". She grabbed my hand and I smiled "Evelyn is my everything, I never actually felt more in love with anyone in my life".

I looked at her and then her heart monitor went crazy "What the hell is going on?" I asked and then the nurse froze "Doctor, something isn't right" I couldn't believe it. Was she dying? Or maybe as she going brain dead?

The doctor came in and then hold my shoulder "listen you need to leave" I looked at her body and cried but I wasn't giving up, I couldn't let her out of my sight "no I don't want to, she's my wife and she deserves to have someone by her side". A couple of hours passed they took her into surgery and they said everything turned well and now she's awake and alive.

I walked into her room and I saw her laying down in the bed and on the bright side she doesn't have a tube down her throat. I walked over to her and grabbed her hand "Hey" I said and she slowly turned her head to me and smiled "Ja-Jayy?" She asked and I smiled "I'm here baby".

She slowly smiled and then I sat down next to her "Jayy?" I shushed her "I'm here baby, and I'm not leaving you ever okay?" I asked and she smiled "Okay". Everything was silent as we looked at each other smiling but I herd Dahvie Jr "Mommy!" He ran in the room and Evelyn smiled "Hi baby".

Then in walked my mother "He couldn't wait to see you" Evelyn smiled "I missed you" she said rubbing his head. At night the kids were still with my mother and I was with my lovely wife.

"Jayy?" She asked and I smiled "Yes baby?" "I love you so much and thank you for staying here with me" she said and I blushed "I love you too and thank you for staying with me and not leaving, cause I don't ever believe that I can't live without you". Evelyn smiled and I kissed her lips "I've want to feel your lips for a long time" she said and I laughed "me too baby".

We started to make out and then she pulled away "what's wrong?" I asked and she smiled "I'm just so happy that I survived" "me too, cause I can't live without you".
