Chapter 2 - The Fall

Hayley's POV
I jumped to the bar, squat to the high bar, 4 giants and a double back dismount. I remember feeling horrible pain in my neck/back, and landed on my knees, ribs, and elbows. I screamed as loud as I could. "Hayley???" "Is she dead?" "Please don't die," My best friend Millie said. "M-Millie, I I'll try not to," I said weakly.
3rd Person POV
Hayley's coach ran over. All Hayley could say was "Knees, ribs, elbows, neck, back hurt" before she got unconscious. Her coach called 911 while Millie called her parents.
Katie's POV
I got a call from Hayley's friend Millie.
Millie: Mrs. Katie!! Soooo, at camp, Hayley was dong a double back dismount, and her neck and back hit the bar, and she landed on her ribs, elbows, and knees, she's currently being loaded into an ambulance.
Mrs. Katie: WHAT??
Millie: Go to the hospital!
Mrs. Katie: Okay
I ran to the car and drove as fast as I could without getting a ticket. "Hayley LeBlanc!" I said to the front desk when I got there. A lady showed me to a room. I opened the door and saw Hayley on the bed, and her friends around her. "She's been knocked out for a while," Her friend Sophie said. She had a zillion wires hooked up to her weak body. "Will she have amnesia?" I asked the doctors. "There is a 98% chance she won't have amnesia." The doctor said. I sighed in relief. "But, from her hips down, she's paralyzed." I sighed of sadness. My poor baby will probably never walk again.
3 weeks later
She still hasn't woke up. I told Annie a day after I found out and she was devestated.
Annie's POV
Me, Mommy, and Daddy are at the hospital, seeing Hayley. She has been in a coma for 3 weeks, and is paralyzed from the hips down. I was talking to her, while sobbing.
"Hayley, please don't go, I already lost Caleb, I can't loose you," I said, taking a break to sob. "Please wake up. I love you to the moon and back," I said when something happy happened. "I-i love you to the moon and back, too," Hayley said. "YOU'RE AWAKE!!" I said. "W-what happened?" She asked. I told her. "I can't move my legs!!" She said. Ohhhhhhhh yeah, she's been paralyzed, I forgot to tell her that. "Oh yeah, um, Hay hay, the accident was really bad that you can no longer move your body from the hips down," I said. She started crying. Her elblows were in a cast, her ribs and back had a brace, her neck had a wrap, and her knees just had wrap. "I won't be ableto do gymnastics!" She said. I gave her a hug without hurting her, and went to get Mommy, Daddy, and the doctors.

"Hayley's awake!!" I said. "WHAT?!?!" Mommy said. Then we ran to see her. "Mommy!!" Hayley said. They gave her hugs. Then a doctor came. "How are ya?" She asked. "My neck and back feel a little bit better, my elbows still hurt, my ribs are fine, and I can't feel my knees." She said. "Breathing?" She asked. "I can breathe alright." She said.
Hayley's POV
Oww, my whole body hurts. But my ribs and legs. "Rate your pain on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the worst for each body part." The doctor told me. "Neck - 4 Back - 4 Ribs - 1 Elbows - 4 Knees - 0" I said. "Stomach - HUNGRY!!!" I laughed. "All right, I'll get you lunch." She said walking out. I talked to my family.

She came back with a turkey sandwich, applesauce, chips, milk, and a cookie. I gobbled it up. Mom laughed because I always eat slow when we're in a rush. I talked to my family some more than visiting hours were over.

The doctors moved me into a room. There were kids from 4-14 in there. "This is where everyone eats dinner," She told me. I nodded. She sat me down on a chair next to another 11 year old. "I'm Maisy." She said. "Hayley." I said. "Wait, you're Hayley from Bratayley?" She asked. I nodded. "EVERYONE!!! Hayley Bratayley is here!!" She called. Then everyone started freaking out. "H-how do they all know me?" I asked. "We watch Bratayley everyday on a big TV after dinner!!" One girl said. I felt special. "We saw the vlog when you got hurt." Maisy said. "It was sooo sad, but least you're with us!!" Another girl said. "Some of the 5 year olds cried," Someone else said. Then the doctor came with dinner. Pizza!! "Doctor Anderson, Hayley Bratayley is here!!" Maisy said. "Oh she is!" The doctor said.

When I was back at my room for bed, I stared out the window. The full moon illuminated the sky. The stars were brighter than ever. "Caleb, is being 11 hard?" I asked. Then a star twinkled*. "I take that as a yes," I said going to bed.
Annie's POV
The sky was beautiful. The full moon was the only light in sight, (HEY THAT RHYMES) the stars we're brighter than my ideas, and I saw a shooting star, enough time to make a wish. I would share my wish, but if I did, it won't come true. "Mommy, is Hayley gonna be okay?" I asked. "I hope," She said. I started crying. "It's been hard, for all of us." Daddy said. I wish Caleb were here. He would know what to do. "Caleb, will Hayley ever get better?" I asked. Then a star twinkled*. I took it as a yes.
*So Annie and H$ asked Caleb a question at the same time, and he blinked to both of them.
Sorry for not updating The Girl Who Saved Simply Liv yesterday!! My mom grounded me -_-
