WE SAW A GHOST!!

Okay so tbh I don't really have an excuse for why its been like 2 months but life happens. Anyways I'm here now and here's one I've been working on. Enjoy!

Liza's POV
David started laughing as the Mr. Boba lady went to the back and handed me a punch card. Flipping on the camera and yell whispering
"do it do it!"
I rolled my eyes. He got so excited about vlog content and it was adorable.
I quickly grabbed the stamper and rapidly filled up the card all while thinking this poor drink lady! He started laughing hysterically. I made him smile and laugh today.
I put an imaginary check through both of those things on my girlfriend list in my mind. Check!

A couple hours later we pulled up to my friends house.
"Are you sure you don't wanna come to Zane and Heath's with me?" he asked sounding a little whiny.
I didn't mind though because that meant that he wanted me to stay. Check!
"I do but I've been planning this movie night for a week babe." I replied sighing.
"Fine." he sighed back flaring his adorable nostrils. "Ill miss you the whole time." he said smiling his 'I've got no braces anymore' smile.
"Same." I said giving him a quick kiss and climbing out of the car.
I walked up to my friends house and knocked. I turned to see that he was waiting for me to get inside.
He cares about my safety. Check!
My friend came to the door and I waved goodbye. He sped off.

Davids POV
I pulled up to Zane and Heaths feeling a little hesitant to go in. I mean its not that I didn't want to but they always tease me about Liza. It usually doesn't bug me too much but I'm just missing her a little extra tonight.

I walked in and immediately pulled out my camera. Someone had said something about a ghost and I knew it'd be perfect footage... okay fine perfect click bait.
I wish Liza was here. She'd love this.
My phone started to vibrate and I pulled it out to see a text from Liza🚀.

Movie nights a bust.. Carly and Erin are both already passed out. Wanna pick me up and we can hang?
I quickly texted her back and told her I'd be there in a few.
"Guys I'm gonna head out!" I yelled heading out the door. "Liza needs a ride!"
"Can you give me a ride home?" New Alex asked "Yeah me too?" Alex chimed in.
I hesitated because I really wanted alone time with Liza but gave in. "yeah sure."
I said grabbing my keys. "Lets go."

Liza's POV

On my way!
David responded. I thought it was awesome how he was willing to be my taxi.
I looked up from my phone to see if either of the girls had woken up yet. The notebook was totally bunk. They'd both fallen asleep before it had even ended. Now it was done and I didn't know what to do.
Davids ringtone went off again.
Here!

My stomach tightened as I read the text. I really wanted some time alone with David. Not necessarily physical alone time but I just could never get enough of him. Being with him made me so happy.

Heads up! Alex x2 is with me. They both needed rides.😑
My heart dropped a little.
Its fine. We'll figure something out.

I climbed into the car grabbing original Alex's hand to help me in. I flashed a quick smile at David in the rear view mirror to let him know I was happy to see him. He's so cute.
"I got a text from Gabbie asking us to meet over at her place to hang for a bit. Is that cool with everyone?" David asked specifically looking at me. "Yeah" the Alexs said at the same time and I nodded.
"Alright" David sighed.
"Take us to Gabbies, uber driver!" I said in a dramatic voice trying to cheer him up.
He smiled and rolled his eyes. Check!

After we hung with Gabbie for a bit both Alexs took an uber home. David and I hung for a bit longer before we decided to go too.
We gave her hugs and started walking to Davids car. I reached for his hand and with out hesitation he accepted intertwining our fingers. Check! I started to swing our hands as we walked.
"So Gabbie said something about a ghost, tell me more about that!" I said striking up conversation.
"Yeah it was crazy!" he said his eyes getting real big.
We separated hands as we got to the car and then quickly got in putting them back together.
The whole way to my house David told me about the ghost only stopping for breaths and to laugh.
I got chills. I get scared easily okay.

We pulled up to my apartment and sat for a minute. I really didn't want this to end. Especially since there could be ghosts in my apartment too.
"Okay well its midnight. I better be heading back to my place then." David said quietly.
"Or you could come up for a bit?" I asked nervously.
"Oh.." David said smirking.
"Not like that!" I said hitting him and blushing."But if there's a ghost someone's gotta fight it for me and how are you supposed to do that from your place?!"
"If you insist" he responded sarcastically as if it was such a hard decision.
He parked the car and we went up to the apartment.

We arrived at my door and I pulled the keys out of my pocket but as soon as I had them in my hand I dropped them, turning around to put them in the door. When I turned back around to pick them David was already picking them up like the great boyfriend he was. Check!
When he stood up completely our faces were so close I could smell his mint gum. He put his hand on the back of my shoulder and slowly pulled it down until it was at the small of my back.
"Here's your keys." He said softly.
I tried to speak but suddenly had no voice. His hand was so distracting...
I finally snapped back into reality and grabbed them out of his hand. I turned around to put the key in the door when I felt someone behind me. He put his hands on my hips, pushing himself unto me, then he leaned in close so his mouth was on my ear.

"Listen, I'm sorry that we didn't get to hang alone like we wanted.. but do you wanna go inside now and.. (he pulled my waist closer so my butt was on his hips and there was no space in between our bodies.) watch a movie or something?"
I sighed and pushed him off of me. "That wasn't funny!" I said praying that my cheeks weren't as red as they felt.
"Then why am I laughing" David cried giggling.
"Oh shut up!" I said rolling my eyes.

I finally got the key inside the lock, unlocked my door, and swiftly closed it behind me.
"Liza!" David yelled from the other side. "..Li- I'll call an uber."
I busted out laughing at the vlog joke and opened the door giving him a hug. I smiled to myself feeling grateful at how easily he could make me laugh. Check!
I'm so happy he's mine.
