Dreaming- chapter 6

Mckenzie's pov

When I wake up, it's still dark outside. I look around only to notice I'm not in my room, but next to me is Luke. He's so cute when he's sleeping. I try to wriggle my way out of his grip. But damn, that boy is not budging. I decided to give up and go back to sleep. Luke twitches and moves a little. But the consistent beating of his heart and the perfect rhythm of the rising and falling of his chest, slowly ushers me back to sleep.

I'm running in my wolf form. I'm running so quick dodging anything and everything in my way. I reach the end on the cliff a sudden wave of fear and anxiety rolls over me. There's yellow eyes in the tree line, they're snarling at me. Rogues. There's no were to go. I look down to see the ocean. I gulp down my fear and jump. I shift back into my human body since I can swim better. But I don't hit the water. I just keep falling.

Everything goes bright white. I cover my eyes. After my eyes adjust I look around. I glowing blueish and White figure stands infront of me. Her dress is pure white with long flowy sleeves and a long trail behind her. "W...who are y..you?" Uncertainty laced my words.
"I am the moon goddess my child, you seem to have a strong connection with me. I hear you talking to me at night. Why are you sad about having a mate?"
"I am my fathers firstborn child, so when he retires I will take over as Luna. My mate cannot be an alpha otherwise I'll have to go to his pack. And leave my brother in charge" I say hesitantly.
"Is that all? You are the white wolf my dear. You will change packs. You will change how werewolfs live"
What am I doing? It's a dream. But it feels so real.
"What do you mean?" I feel so confused.
"Here take this to prove that it's real" she hands me a bracelet with a wolfs head and a crescent moon on it. She begins to disappear. And I begin to fall. Until I hit the water.

I shoot up. Well tried. Luke's arm is still around me with a firm grip. But with my sudden move Luke begins to wake up and his hold on me begins to loosen. He mumbled something that I didn't catch. With his loosen grip. I place a pillow where I was and snuck to the bathroom. I turned the shower on and hopped in. I had a quick shower just to wash the dream away from me. When I reached above my head to grab the body wash, I gasped when I saw the bracelet. It was a sliver chain, with a white wolfs head and blue moon attached to it. So the dream was real.
It couldn't be real. It just couldn't. No one ever meets the moon goddess until they die. And I am certainly not dead, what is happening. I know my wolf is white, it's not hard to miss. What does she mean about 'changing the way wolves live'? Maybe Luke and I will join our packs? Maybe we will share our pack territories and become a stronger pack. Just maybe.

After my shower I told look about my dream and showed him my bracelet, he was shocked. When I said that the Moon Goddess told me that I will change the way wolves live, I had a feeling to ask him if we could join packs. We are neighbouring packs anyway. Although my pack has twice the amount of wolves in it, his wolves are all really well trained fighters and trackers. We only have about 200 well trained fighters so joining our packs would be so helpful for any rouge attacks or any attacks from any other creatures. Well here it goes.

"Luke? Can I ask you something? It may seem crazy. But I think it could work" I asked rather quickly.
"What's up, Babe?" He just smiled back.
"Well, since I'm going to be the Luna of my pack when my father retires, and you're already alpha and since we're mates and since our packs are neighbors, I was wondering if we could join them and make a big strong pack?" I asked super quickly and now I'm out of breathe.
He looked at me. Confused and a bit angry. "Why would we join packs?! You're going to be Luna of MY pack. Your brother can take over from your father. And you will stay here. With. Me." He growled at the last part. I growled back, no one growls at me. I am a white wolf. Chosen by the Moon Goddess herself. He should accept my offer. I take a breathe and calmed down.
"Darling, if you refuse I can not stay here with you. I will leave and be Luna to my pack. The Moon Goddess herself chose me to change the way Wolves live, and I think this is one way things will change. I will give you a week to change your mind. Otherwise I will leave, I won't reject you, I will leave and have nothing to do with you. So it's so much worse than rejection" I snapped back at him. Wow where did this anger come from.
